Zay is a pretty nice guy, all things considered. He will put in the time of day for you and doesn't brush people off, he genuinely listens to them. He's very talkative and sometimes won't shut up, but everyone loves him anyway. He is usually confident most days, but when he's struggling with his grades and studying because of his dyslexia he basically just loses sight of what a great person he is and feels bad about himself.

He doesn't really have a motivation behind his kindness, he's just a good guy and that's who he is.

He has fairly strict rich parents who expect the best from him academically, and he has un-diagnosed dyslexia because his parents don't listen to him and refuse to believe anything is wrong with him.

He doesn't have a prejudice against anything or anyone except math, but don't we all?

He struggles to feel special sometimes because he doesn't have anything to say he's good at.
