She doesn't really have a big reason for dying it, she just thinks it looks better than her naturally dark hair. She hasn't had dark hair since she was in 7th grade. she wasn't peer pressured(at least not directly) she just wanted it lighter, and then it kept getting lighter each time she went to the salon, and then the blonde just stuck around.

Stella has gotten really good at being Heather Chandler, shes the popular perfect girl that everyone wants to be, or fuck, or both. But obviously this is all a mask, a survival tactic really. See Stella can become invisible, and no one can know about it. Stella is really a very insecure person, but not in a typical way. She heavily relies on her looks, thinking them the only reason anyone still talks to her, and shes unfortunately kinda correct.

This mask she puts on, the self-directed criticism, tends to make her kinda fake, a people pleaser one might call her. She's too afraid of doing anything she loves that's even remotely outside of what her friends are doing, in fear of being cast aside for being different.
This also leads her to look the other way, or even mildly join in when her friends make fun of someone. It's not something she's proud of, when she was younger she was very outspoken and against bullying of any kind. She justifies it to herself by saying that it's for survival.

All this makes her kind of a mastermind lier, she lies about her interests, her whereabouts, her family, her friends, her drug use, the brands she wears, the makeup she uses, the amount of makeup she uses, its kind of ridiculous. it's not even that she's just lying to her "friends", she started lying to her family, the amount of "little white lies" that this girl says is astounding.
She feels horrible when she lies, but also can't stop. She can say her lies and be fine at the moment and even for weeks, but then they'll all coming crashing into her mind and she will cry and fuck up her room, before going to school with a smile and more lies the next day.

She has this big problem where she constantly tries to steal guys from her friends and other girls, its kinda like a remind them who’s boss type thing and also an insecurity thing? she feels that the only thing she has is her looks, that she is average a pretty much everything while her friends all excel at several things, and she feels that if they realize that all she has is looks and charisma that they will get tired of her. so she tries to remind everyone that hey I’m really pretty and get all the boys even your boyfriends so you wanna be friends with me right? as you can probably guess it doesn’t work out all that well for her.
just like with the lying she doesn't like it but does it until she crashes and then keeps doing it. this leads to her friends not talking to her about boys, and all the boys at her school and others knowing shes an easy fuck, but none of them would date her. shes widely unliked by her peers, but no one really says anything directly to her, its just gossip and rumors.

Shes fuckng dumb, the kind where you just do shit and don't think about it. she actually has a fucking great personality, very wild very into doing stupid shit and being fun and adventurous. but she has such a manufactured personality at the beginning if she's plain and like everyone else then everyone will like her right? she has a really hard time with people not liking her, and it gets betting during the story, character development ya know.

she has one friend in her group that she's very close with, and they always do stupid shit together. I'm talking doing donuts in the school parking lot late at night when its empty, cliff jumping, going across the country on spring break, normal teenage stuff.
she loves going on adventures, they don't even have to be big, going to the grocery store at 2 am? glow in the dark Mini golf in 20 minutes? food before school starts? shes down.

Really hyper-aware during social interactions, she's really good at reading people and telling what they’re feeling and tends to take it upon herself to mold herself to what they are feeling, she’ll stop doing something if she feels the other person is annoyed or bored, stuff like that. Basically just gives herself a lot of stress and anxiety when she doesn't need to.

Stella has had a pretty good life, her parents are still together and she's close with her brothers even if they're off at college now and she has a solid group of friends.
Sure her biggest supporters are hours away and always busy, and maybe her parents have been yelling at her more, and sure her friends are all fake and she has no one to talk to, but it's fine.
And it doesn't matter that shes weirdly fast, or those weird marks on her forehead that no acne treatment will fix, or the fact that she's the tallest one in her family by several inches.
And it also doesn't matter that she can become invisible.

when Stella was born it was for one reason, to be a sacrifice.
stellas mom is the head of a cult to say the least, of course Stella doesn’t know this, but when she summons a god to gain more power it requires more of a sacrifice than she planned for.
The willing victims to be sacrificed weren’t enough, this god was curious, this god was a “scientist”, and this god wanted guinea pigs.
Stellas brothers were already to old to be of any use to the gods early experiments, so came Stella. The god demanded a young child, and Stellas mom delivered.
As soon as Stella could walk, she was given to the god, and wasn’t given back until she was 6.
The god was simply fascinated with human behaviors, and they’re reaction to things inhuman. These experiments were also made to fulfill the contract from stellas mom, she wanted to be powerful, but didn’t want to die or have any risk, so he tried on other people and children until the practice was perfect, satisfying both his curiosity and her thirst for power.
Of course false memories were planted in her and her brothers minds, so had no clue anything happened.
Stella was dubbed “unstable demi #0, status: observable” and all her actions were kept on file.
She was to be raised as a normal child, and see what she would do with her powers and what she would do with the other experiments to come after her.

her family is actually pretty good, Stella has a pretty typical nuclear family, her mom and dad are still together and both work good jobs, she has 2 older brothers that she loves, and her relationship with her parents is really good and they talk easily between themselves.

Stella and her brothers are really close, but her brothers always seemed closer to each other than with her. They are twins and also 22 so they are a good amount older than her; they are in college and they can't talk as much anymore so Stella feels kinda alone in highschool as her brothers used to help her in middle school.

While her family knows that shes "sexually active" as they would say, they don't really know to what extent. they know shes, not a virgin but don't really know about all the sex she's having because its never at her house, and if it is its when she's home alone and doesn't leave a trace.
they also don't know about the drugs, they kinda assume because she's a teenager, but they don't know about the borderline nicotine addiction or the getting high almost every weekend, or that one time(read: several times) she tried led, or that other time when she... you get the picture
