Hates men, mostly due to the brutality that his alcoholic father showed him during Arthur's childhood.
Sociopathic, secretly an Animus-user despite having no formal training or upbringing
Generally calm and cordial, everyone finds him nice and unassuming, even a little dense.
Money, revenge on the world for what his father did to him
Sociopathic, won't kill or harm women and children unless his life is at stake.
Very accurate sniper, can use Animus magic whenever he is overcome with emotion (saved his life on a few occasions), earned himself the nickname "Misfortune's Favor."
Writing children's stories, actually published a few decent-selling books under a penname.
Calm almost to a fault, but when you put a gun in his hand he becomes a seething rage-monster that gets his kill no matter the circumstances. Only ever takes jobs that involve killing men. Becomes especially obsessed if the person he is killing is an alcoholic.
April 1st
Grew up in a small quarry town within the Prominence Empire, a dozen or so miles away from the capitol city of Mordaria. His father was a miner, digging for granite to supply builders, sculptors, and countertop-makers within the capitol. He was also an alcoholic, meaning that when he wasn't working, he was drinking with his friends. He would abuse Arthur both physically and mentally for his stature and build, often telling him that he was never a "real man." Sometimes, he would come home drunk and fly into a rage, eventually scarring Arthur's arms and legs with a broken beer bottle and beating his wife. He died after drinking himself into a stupor and drowning in his own vomit, while Arthur was left to help his mother and become the man of the house.
The mental scars never fully healed, as he hates men because they were the ones that always made fun of him or hurt him, while women and children managed to support him and make him laugh. He had been known to get into altercations with male classmates and teachers, nearly getting him expelled from high school. His mother begged him to straighten up, and he actually did. There were no more fights or arguments all through college, though he was a loner for nearly all of it. He took up sharpshooting as a hobby and found an outlet for his anger.
Things took a turn for the worse when he was caught in a gang fight walking home one night. He walked into an alley that he usually took as a shortcut home and was jumped buy multiple guys who thought he was trespassing onto their territory.
"No, no, I'm simply trying to get home!"
That didn't work, and he was beaten, mugged, and left to rot until someone helped him up. That person was Mrs. Muffet, the leader of the Tarantula crime syndicate, on business in Arthur's hometown. It was an extremely lucky coincidence, and he was given a job after a brief interview and a "demonstration" that involved killing a weapons dealer that moonlighted as a mole for the police.
Graduated from college with a B.A. in English
Cat (Gluttony)
Gold earrings (worn as rings)
Triggers: Beer bottles (primarily green ones), shouting, seeing someone drunk or acting drunk.
Give him a gun and his demeanor changes drastically, he becomes far more belligerent and rude, especially when referring to his target.

Lavender, he thinks it has a calming effect on him.
Cats. They're furry and like to snuggle when he's reading a book.
Sniper rifle, very similar to a Heckler & Koch PSG. Semi-automatic for "target-rich" environments.
A pair of gold earrings that his mother wore. They were originally an anniversary gift that his father gave her, but she entrusted them to Arthur when she died. He wears them as rings.
Pasta and vegetable dishes, reminds him of the food his mother made him whenever he felt sad or angry.
Doesn't care about the Great Wyvern War or whatever is outside of his organization. He only cares about completing jobs for Mrs. Muffet. Dragons and Wyverns are beasts with no real purpose aside from providing materials to build structures, weapons, and armor.
Catholic, believes that every job he completes is divine retribution.
Hitman for the Tarantula crime syndicate
