Jindri
5 years in human. To get their true age for their species, multiple the human age by 3. Making them 15 years old.
Intersexual
Octo-Cat, Minty-Mouth, Creepy Eyes, Kitty, Oct
In human form, they have it down. It’s long.
In human form, light yellow pants going down to ankles. They seem to not like the idea of shoes. Black t shirt and a yellow raincoat overtop, even if it’s not raining.
Slim.
Olive in human form. Not visible in true.
Octo-Cats/Afidadite
Yellow. Same as in human form..kinda a giveaway as well.
Their main body stands usually upright, though their lower half is composed of several tentacles. Despite the name Octo, they do not have eight tentacles, but at the time, it sounded catchy. Their body is covered in odd fur, some might describe it as feathers, like a penguin’s. Outside is waterproof, but insulating. It keeps them warm. Their back has four tentacles on it, presumably for carrying things.
They have a relatively round head with black capped ears standing on their head. The eyes are unique, with the pupils being horizontal. Their mouth is filled with two rows of razor sharp teeth that can be retracted if needed. They have four arms as well, black ‘gloves’ on the hands (which in reality are just made of fur).
8 ft tall.
Human form: 6 ft tall
White ‘fur.’ Black tipped ears, and ‘socks’ on each of their tentacles.
Human form: White hair. Kinda a giveaway if you think about it.
Jindri is very playful, and mischievous. They usually do not talk upon meeting someone new, though are perfectly capable of doing so. They speak multiple languages, including one unknown one. They are very good with children, although the children might be scared of them at first (which they are not hurt by.)
While typically seen as fun loving, Jindri comes from a different species and thus their culture is very different. They may not understand emotions properly or handle them in the same way we do. They are also still an animal (which is what I implied by not handling them in the same way.) They can be very straightforward with little to no sugarcoating.
They prefer not to kill in a battle unless feeding. In which case, they are carnivores and feed on seafood. They like it raw, but eat it cooked in needed. When Feral (explained later) they will kill with little hesitation.
In a battle, Jindri is a better fighter in the water than land. Jindri is known to fight using their multiple appendages, in which they usually strangle their foes. They also use their arms to punch (though a bit clumsy) or scratch, while teeth can bite chunks out of flesh scarily easily. They use their surroundings as well in battle.
Feral: A mode often triggered by violent actions towards Jindri, or close friends or family. Noted by the shrinking of the pupils and the baring of teeth, Jindri speaks limited words in this form, but they growl almost constantly. Aggressive and seems to forget almost all relations with others in this stage. Can be snapped out of it if left alone for a bit or just give them a little..battle. Or the easier way, get some bells and keep ringing them, and hope that Jindri snaps out of it.
Possesses ability to shift into a human form, but Jindri states it dislikes this form.

Jindri works as..well, it’s complicated. They work for the United Earth Empire in a way; used on search and rescue missions and deep sea exploration. Of course, they also assist in fishing. And swimming lessons, although those have a tendency to fail, since different species..different swimming styles. They’re trying!
