Though Crystal was born in The Flats she was rather wealthy. Her Father, Charles, was rather high up in the mountains and had plenty of affairs. To keep a good image he paid off the women and provided them with houses in the Flats. Her mother, Cheryl, had a respectable enough position in the flats so she didn’t have to depend on Charles, but still took up the offer with the housing as it was better than most housing in the flats. Cheryl did not know that the housing also came with every woman he has ever had an affair with. When Crystal was two Cheryl died poisoned by a jealous mistress who was never found, mostly because of lack of investigation. Crystal was then raised by her father’s favorite mistress Della. Della was very abusive towards Crystal and so were her kids as she grew up. By the time Crystal was five she was quick to do what she was told and was picked on by other kids at school. Della had gotten married to Charles knowing that she’d get some power out of it and was in charge of the filing systems when Crystal was six. At age twelve, Crystal snooped through the files and was thrown in the abyss.
