Born in France, she was a wealthy girl from birth. Raised like a Duchess in a fancy house near a river, she was taught all the types of etiquette necessary of a girl in her standing. Around her 5th birthday, her family moved to England, to her mother's childhood home in London.
They lived a wealthy life there, since her mother was quite the star. After she reached the age of 20, her mother died of disease, while her father was poisoned at dinner. Anis managed to escape back to France from the servants' coup d'état on her family.
After finding her home city in France boring, she decided to move to her family's winter estate deep in the woods, where she met a strange forest nymph(of sorts) and fell in love.
