An aloof young man that’s known Shuiro since they were technically in diapers. Cool and level headed, but suffers from an apathetic tone of voice and a lack of facial expressions. Well intentioned.

Abel’s the perfect blend of traditional and modern. Unlike his parents, who are more traditional and his sisters, who are more modern .

His tone of voice is normally quiet, but always smooth.

He will shake hands with non-Japanese folk, but bow to Japanese folk.

Pointing is considered rude, so he tends to indicate direction, or “point”, with an open hand. That or he juts his head in the certain direction or point when he’s not at home.

He drops subtle hints to how he’s feeling, physical or verbal.

Abel’s completely comfortable with touching around friends and family. He’s actually quite the hugger, though acts reluctant about it.

He’s only ever truly listening if his arms are uncrossed.

His friends and his family. His biggest supporters that he definitely doesn’t want to let them down.

His past. Due to his previous relationship and the drama that spurred from it, Abel’s been his own worst critic. He doesn’t wish to be as naive or judgmental and holds himself up to unreasonably high standards because of it.

His love for art. Abel’s always been fascinated by art, ever since he was young. He started out with your but gradually came to look at different and more famous pieces as he got older. He’s a little shy when admitting it, but without art, Abel would admit to feeling lost.

He’ll tend to bottle up his emotions, only dumping them on the people he cares for the most. While he talks his feelings out completely, he does tend to get a little irritated and short fused while he keeps to himself. This can results in some insensitivity or snippy acts on his end.

nosy people or people that try to pry information out of him that he truly doesn’t want to share, or people that try to tell him how he’s feelings is a very easy way to set him off. He gets easily defensive and closed off and even aggressive

Abel would hold a grudge to the end of his days.

His courteous nature proves difficult when he has to say no. He can be blunt with his friends and family, but with others, his “no” is always watered down to a maybe or he’ll give an excuse. This frustrates him some, especially when people take advantage of that.

He’s extremely loyal to those he cares for. Should that trust be lost, however, you’ll have a hell of a time getting it back. He’ll be petty and won’t give little chances to actually make up with him unless he feels like you deserve it/mean it. ( or unless he’s convinced. He can be pretty petty .)

His apathetic facial expressions often make him a target for negative assumptions. While some may say he does maintain a cool and mysterious aura, in truth, it’s just that he lackS in showing a proper physical reaction unless it’s something he’s really interested in. He does care, he just doesn’t show it ( unless you’re close to him)

He tends to not fight with people and is always the first to make up. Even when he’s done nothing wrong, he takes full responsibility of his and the other person’s actions, even when he has no place to do so. His childhood friend, Shuiro, often tells him to take a page out of her book and start defending himself properly, but he refuses to, giving the simple reason that he doesn’t need to prove himself to people that easily get easily swayed by what they hear from other people’s mouths.

He’s gotten a little uncomfortable with the fact of opening up to new people.

He’s indifferent towards sensitive people. He assumes he’ll say something that’ll ruin his relationship with them, so he keeps a polite distance physically and emotionally. It’s......kind of awkward, to be honest.

He hates weeaboos, or any individuals that romanticise a certain culture for the hell of it. He’s often annoyed by them and avoids them if he can.

He’s extremely talented at art.

He likes to try his hand at cooking. He likes to do it with his mother and grandmother. He’s rather accomplished at it thanks to his grandmother’s patience.

An rather down to earth individual, Abel goes about his life observing rather than putting himself out there. He was raised to be polite, dependable and conservative, so he’s adamant on keeping things to himself. He holds his tongue on certain matters and is usually the one to be the most responsible if something goes wrong.

He’ll only let his true colors show when around the people he’s extremely comfortable with. He goes from the respectful sort of character to little demon in a flash. He’s endearingly annoying and hops on the band wagon when it comes to getting a little destructive time to time. He’s also more blunt, tending to let the smart ass side of him out and speaks more freely. He’s also known to smile more, though it’s usually more of a smirk.

A trait he seems to consider a blessing and a curse is his patience. Not much gets to Abel and he tends to either brush it off or deal with it immediately. However, if the right buttons are pushed, those met him are surprised to see that their ministrations are met with twice or even triple the amount of animosity that they have. His best friend has even commented that he’s scary when he’s angry, much to his amusement.

Prone to a sort of “flattery” but it is rarely ever genuine. It’s more practiced, rehearsed if you will.

He’s very neutral about politics, rarely ever taking sides since there are pros and cons to everything.

Abel’s successfully completed elementary and high school. He’s enrolling for colleges now.

Abel was born into a pretty well off family, earning a childhood friend at the age of five.
He grew up to be rather standoffish in elementary school, only sticking with Shuiro and the few friends they made along the way.
In seventh grade, he met a girl named Sarah * .He, Shuiro and Sarah became a close trio and over the summer, he and Sarah decided to start “dating” . Everything was fine until Sarah and Shuiro had started getting to arguments about Abel’s feelings towards them both, due to Sarah’s jealous, obsessive nature. Despite Abel being friends with Shuiro longer, he ultimately decided not to trust her claim on Sarah’s parasitic behavior. After a fight between Shuiro and Sarah, he decided to separate himself from Shuiro for a while. He continued to spend less time with Shuiro and more time with Sarah, eventually missing out on things he’d normally do with her.
Sarah took advantage of Abel’s kind heart, getting more and more clingy with him. Abel will admit that it was suffocating, but Sarah always came up with an excuse that would either guilt trip him back into the relationship. The day he and Sarah broke Up was the day where she tried to get him to sleep with her. She had tried to force herself on him and naturally, He refused, pushed her away and ran. The next day, Sarah has claimed the Abel had tried to force himself upon her. Everyone had their doubts, but it was still a serious claim to make against somebody. The police were involved, so was Abel’s family, but it eventually cleared up when Abel had spoke the truth. After that, he was teased or avoided, but Shuiro , despite being heartbroken, was there. Their friendship healed over time, stronger than it had been before.

Sarah still tries to pursue, her advances eventually coming to interfere with the relationship he’s now in with his new significant other.

Going by tradition Japanese written language, Abel’s name would be Shimizu Abel.

His favorite time of day is night.

His least favorite thing to eat is cauliflower.

Abel’s an art prodigy. He picks up on art related things very quickly. He wants to pursue a career in the field as he enters college.

Abel views the Kellys as family, just like the rest of his family. He welcomes cousins and distant relatives of theirs warmly.

Remarked to have inherited his grandmother’s intense eyes/gaze. Considered to be an attractive feature.

Abel is the middle child of three siblings. He has two sisters, one older and one younger.

Has a separate social media account specially made to piss people off and witness drama.

He speaks three languages fluently : English, Japanese and Korean. He can also write in these.

Abel always accompanied his sisters m, Shuiro and Avonaco to Asian festivals held in more traditional parts of the area.
