Dima is logical and good at thinking his way out of tough situations. He's devoted to Ness and Lyra despite the growing tension between them, and tends to keep a cool head in tight spots, often expressing emotion through his dry sense of humor rather than through yelling. He's terrified of being seen as a deadweight and being left behind, especially after he injures his leg. Dima tends to seem coldhearted, but does trust a select few.
