Deborah is escaping from the prison which held her for so many years. Her main motivation in the story is to escape the misery and eventual death of that prison.
Another motivation is her desire to explore the world and enjoy her newfound freedom.
Deborah constantly either has her arms wrapped around her chest or her arms crossed; either way, she instinctively does this to protect herself. Deborah's left hand occasionally twitches. When she is irritated, she furrows her eyebrows. When she is sarcastic, she cocks her right eyebrow upwards.
Deborah has been thoroughly trained as a Royal soldier, completing a decade of study and physical training.
The 5th of September.
Deborah is the daughter of a wealthy man and an unknown woman. The man sent her and her older brother to the Onian Military Academy at an early age to be trained and raised as soldiers. This background taught Deborah strict discipline and on how to physically harm others with minimal damage to oneself. At the age of 16, while still a student, Deborah was incarcerated for trying to help her best friend - Bianca-Key - escape the Onian Dance Academy. Deborah spent four years in a prison reserved for soldiers. After years of planning, Deborah escaped the prison. Due to certain circumstances, Deborah was forced to leave Bianca-Key inside.
