When Wendy was around 15, she met Pan (Peter) and he visited her every month for 3 nights for about 6 months, and then he stopped coming. She wears a 'kiss' he gave her around her neck, and cherishes him as a dear friend until she meets him again at the age of 25. At the age of 20, she was courted by Jeremiah Hook, and the two were engaged 2 years later. As of the start of the story, they have been engaged for 3 years, putting off the wedding, while they spend a few more years searching for Jem's father. Wendy knows of magical things, (Pan, Tinkerbelle) and is therefore not surprised when Jem reveals his magical heritage and the fact that his father is missing through unnatural means.
