Johann is an icewolf, one of the five wolf races in Wolf Haven along with the sandwolves, mosswolves, seawolves, and mirewolves. Born into Isinor, the largest wolf and most influential wolf pack in the Frozen North, he has a brother, Quirin, and is the son of the king, Severin, a white wolf. As Johann was the first born, he was expected to take over leadership of the pack when the time came.
However, Johann had always felt a different kind of drive-wanderlust. He was an adventurer, an explorer, and despite his father's wishes, he never showed the slightest interest in becoming leader. As a young pup, he had entered an unusual phase in which he talked about places he'd never been as if they were memories. No one knew why, not even him. There was one thing he did know-Johann wanted to see the world, and no one, not even his father, was going to stop him. And so, the day before he was to be crowned, Johann disappeared.
By the time anyone got suspicious, he was already far away. On he ran, to wherever his paws took him. Of course, leaving the pack meant he was labeled a 'fallen' and could never return, something he did not take seriously at all. After all, Johann was the First Prince. If he ever wanted to return, he was certain the pack would welcome him with open paws. He wasn't completely wrong. The pack does want him back, but only because they risked losing their line of Blue-Eyed Wolves if he took a mate outside of Isinor.
Careless: He is much too carefree at times, and the joy of taking in all the sights around him can outweigh the caution that should come with entering a new environment.
Entitled: As a prince, he's used to getting his way. Though he never demands or orders others around, he does seem to expect things to go his way most of the time.
Naive: Black is black, white is white. Good is good, and bad is bad. Johann is a big believer in first impressions, and after spending a little time with someone, he'll expect them to act a certain way. He is always thrown when those around him show that there's another side to them that he didn't think existed. This makes it hard for him to believe in 'turning a new leaf', as well as doubt those who have previously shown to be trustworthy.
Hypocritical: Unintentionally. For someone who takes things more-or-less at face value, he's quite skilled at being misleading. Perhaps he feels that, as a prince, he would have known if someone was trying to put on a facade.
ENFJ
Wanderlust: Johann doesn't care where he's going, as long as he's going. As a result of his pack's isolation from the rest of the outside world, he observes everything around him with childlike wonder.
Adventure: Johann thinks the world is his to explore as he wishes, and he's eager to see every corner of Wolf Haven, even if it takes him his whole life.
Higher Purpose: Johann has heard the stories of the Blue-Eyed Wolves, how they are destined to change all of Wolf Haven in some way or other. In fact, it was said that the wolf who had led the first inhabitants of Wolf Haven to their destination had also been blue-eyed. Of course, there were also wolves who had changed Wolf Haven for the worse; one Blue-Eyed, named Nyx, had been a tyrant and a dictator, and had plunged the land into an era of darkness. Deep down, Johann worries that his taking over the pack as king would lead to destruction, and so opts to distance himself from them, even if it means being labeled a 'Fallen'. Now that he is unable to return to his pack, Johann is free to search for his destiny, whatever it may bring.
Polite: When making someone's acquaintance, he tends to dip his head to show politeness. When being particularly flattering, he extends his forelegs and bows. Johann treats others relatively equally, especially if they have proven themselves beforehand. Many are taken with his generosity and mistakenly believe that any bond they have with him is one of friendship. Little do they know though, he cares for them as an employer would care for his subordinates.
Deep-thinking: Movement helps his thought process, so when analyzing a problem, Johann paces.
Concerned: It takes a lot to unnerve Johann, but when it does get to him, he turns in tight circles, like a dog that's about to settle for sleep.
Formal: He has a rather formal way of speaking, a trait he shares with the rest of his pack. It gets worse whenever he's angry or upset, to the point of being unable to use contractions in his sentences.
Angry: Johann bares his teeth when angry, and pushes his ears back and tucks his tail when upset. To blow off steam, he scores his claws on any surface immediately available, whether it be the ground, a tree, or even his food.
Johann unconsciously sorts the wolves around him into categories based on skill. Though he had run away from home, many of their ideals had stuck with him. Including the thought that only the gifted and the talented should be worthy of the prince's attention. Because of this, while many wolves may consider Johann a friend, he sees most of them as his followers.
Storytelling: His adventures have given him great stories to tell, and combined with his compelling voice, he is a pleasure to listen to.
Diving: Instead of standing at the banks of rivers to catch fish, Johann deep-dives for them, able to hold his breath longer than most to pull it off.
Singing: Howling is an important part of Isinor's culture, for that is how they celebrate the birth of a new litter, honor the death of a pack member, or conduct the sacred rituals preceding marriage. As such, Johann takes great pride in his singing voice, and always plays the lead in the choir.

Johann is the German equivalent of 'John'
Icewolf: One of the five wolf 'races' in Wolf Haven (along with mosswolf, seawolf, mirewolf, and sandwolf), icewolves live primarily in the Alps and mountains of the Frozen North, and are noted for having yellow and sometimes blue irises (mosswolves have green irises, sandwolves have orange irises, seawolves have grey irises and mirewolves have red irises). Their coat colors typically range from black to a number of greys and grey-browns. Icewolves are also the only wolves to sport white coats and even then it is considered rare.
The name Isinor is derived from the Germanic element 'is', meaning "ice, iron" and 'Kohinoor', meaning "mountain of light" in Persian.

Monotheism: He and all his pack believe in one true deity, a great wolf spirit named Venir who watches over all, whether they believe in him or not. Since they live high in the mountains, and thus closer to the sky, the pack feels that they are the closest to Venir and must stay apart from the other wolf races in order to maintain their purity and status as his 'chosen ones'. This is why, should an icewolf be exiled or leave the pack for whatever reason, they are considered to have 'fallen' from grace and forbidden from ever returning. Any attempt to do so could result in a trial at best, and at worst immediate execution.
Monarchy: He is the firstborn son of the pack's king, and therefore a prince. He values hierarchy, and even though his station prevents him from mingling however he wanted, Johann acknowledges its importance in maintaining order.
