Grew up in the Bible Belt, in a very religious Christian family. She's very religious herself but doesn't hold many of the same beliefs as her family. She knew she liked girls from a young age but due to the strict and prejudiced nature of her household, she's kept it a secret all these years and it's taking a toll on her emotionally. She wants nothing else than to be free and able to be herself without fear, which is why she was so attracted to Thaliana when she first moved out of the south
