For a very long time, the Camp Silverwood was owned by a rich man named Joseph Silverwood. When he died, his disowned granddaughter Louise, a (slightly unhinged) paranormal investigator convinced that the Silverwood estate was located in a mystical hotspot, staked a claim to it. She worked and lived there for several years, but eventually, it became too much for her to keep up and became embroiled in debt. She transformed the property into a summer camp and abandoned her old profession.
