Ashley was named based on one of the dictionary definitions for "ash" which is "the remains of something destroyed; ruins."

Her design is heavily inspired by Tomoko from the show "Watamote" however she has my height and my eye color. The triangular sharp points markings under her eyes represent a damaged out look on life and a more surreal feel to things as they were created just by me messing up on the bottom eye-lashes.
