He bottles up his emotions and tries in vain to deal with them. he is very blunt and often tactless or at least was when he was younger but has improved over time. he is still sometimes quite blunt and says whatever is on his mind. He is also very easily hurt and does deal well with being put down or being thought less of because he is very proud as a leo. he holds himself to very high standards with his work and himself. this means he is often stuck in his own head thinking about how whatever he did could have gone better. He is also quite stubborn and will continue to do something for hours until he gets it. this is both because he loves a challenge and wants to do everything and because he can't let his pride and ego be hurt. he is more likely to give up if he is by himself. he often just sits from the sidelines and judges people trying to get a sense of what they are like. he is often quite reserved ( as much as a leo can be) until he gets to know you then he is as bright, bubbly and bold as anyone else.

he has prejudices against rich and popular kids because he hates people who bully him. They are usually the ones who do this. he also as prejudices against religious people because most of the time they also bully him.

He is a musical prodigy. He is most skilled in piano, cello and violin but also plays saxophone and sings.

Early life
Rafe is the eldest out of him and his younger brother Caleb who is two years younger. They grew up with their parents Sophia and Eli on their rural property in Victoria. He had a relatively normal childhood playing sports such as Auskick which is a football program in Australia(only because his parents forced him) and going to friends places but even when he was in primary school he was bullied.

He is in Year 9. He has no prior magically training at the start. he has music lessons for cello, saxophone and violin but is self taught in piano. He is confident with his music but also science maths and english.
