His mom died while giving birth and his father blamed Oliver. His father set extremely strict rules and if Oli didn't do everything right he would be punished or beaten. This went on for his whole life until he was 15 and his uncle helped him run away from his father. He followed his uncles instruction to run away into the woods and he then was taken into the lost boys. Levi took Oli under his wing and they became friends.
