Ardeshir Katsaros
~17-ish
male
Prefers Shir, but introduces himself as Ardeshir. Also answers to "Cemildas" and Priest, though rarely.
background, yannick's brother
fair, more of a pink-ish undertone
~135-140 lbs
~5'7"
a washed-out green, lighter near the roots and darkening towards the ends
kept in a messy ponytail that goes to about mid back, with long bangs and sideburns
None (refuses to grow any, probably can't anyway)
light blue with hints of purple
willowy, looks like he'd fall over at a gust of wind, pianist's hands. Magic, combined with him forgetting meals and the fact that he uses it almost constantly, is eating away at him.
eye and hair colour, usually in temple vestments, ears are pierced twice, uses a cane
speaks softly and never raises his voice, pauses to think before he speaks, clasps his hands when sitting, sways slightly when standing though he tries not to for too long, gets too absorbed in what he's doing and forgets to eat
definitely a night owl and the most compassionate of the four, he tends to listen to others' problems and offer vague solutions in hopes that they'll realise what they need to do without actually telling anyone what to do
calligraphy, reading as many books as he can get his hands on, would probably enjoy youtube lps, reading aloud to Aleksi
writes quickly and neatly without need for magic, can easily pick locks (learnt how to out of boredom), fairly competent with magic
a dislike for teachers/scholars and a deep hatred for incompetent healers
keeps his opinions to himself even when he should speak up, generally a pushover, apologises for everything - especially when he's not at fault, gets bored easily
a thirst for knowledge, wants to help as many people as he can - especially people who have been wronged by the temple
One of the middle children of an upstanding, highly religious family in Kirthwaite, Aleksandr and Ardeshir are twins, though Ardeshir is technically the older one. Shir was very sickly as a child - a combination of genetics and a childhood illness similar to measles - and never fully recovered. He eventually pushed himself to go through the same education his siblings had, working his way up to becoming a priest far before his twin, though it took probably far too much out of him - weak muscles, bouts of dizziness, and chronic pain still plague him. Magic helps his condition, somewhat, though he mostly uses it for pain management. He's very concerned for Aleksi, as they both know the strict and demanding schedule the temple keeps isn't good for either of them, and has been quietly asking around the town for anything he can do to help his brother get out. His relationship with his parents is cordial, but he's much closer to Aleksi than Yannick or Myrrine.
Midsummer
Well educated in the temple, and seeks out knowledge beyond that for the joy of learning.
None, though he does feed a stray cat that hangs around the temple.
Cats, especially the tabby he's been feeding.
Doesn't carry weapons - he thinks there's no use. But he could probably use his cane as one.
His cane, which is a solid, dark wood with a hard, rubber-like coating at the base. The top is curved to fit into his palm and is decorated with runes.
anything with broth that he can easily eat.
Maroon
Priest of Kirthwaite, located at O Thajos Selan'na Secemil
Doesn't think that the temple should be as involved with people's lives as it is, but as it allows him to help those down on their luck he's fairly happy with the status quo.
practitioner and religious figure of one of the smaller branches of the eastern religion
