Her parents were killed by the King when she was a baby, so she went to live with her uncle. Her uncle hated her but wanted to look after her because it made him look good, so he made it look like he loved her
to the public but was unkind to her when no one else was there. He wouldn't let her leave their house without him. When he found out that Lilith had made friends with the forest sprites, he sent her to the king's court so that she could work for the king and told the public that it was for her ''education.''
