Now our love interest is Princess Elyssia herself. Yes, she and Hekket have been romantically involved for two years now but have never been open about their relationship. The only people who know are themselves, Jirain, and Arcturus. Jirain figured it out on her own, and Arcturus caught them at a less-than-optimal time. Yikes. Elyssia Julianne Isabella Lucia of Akkadia, yes that is her full name, is the third of four children fathered by King Juvius of Akkadia. She was born in Gensyn City, the capital of Akkadia, and has lived there her whole life. She grew up spoiled rotten by her parents and had quite an elitist worldview before she met Hekket. When Princess Elyssia was 11, she was sent to the neighboring nation of Gidden with her cousin Amelia to attend a prestigious all-girls school for three years. Upon her return, her airship was targeted and attacked by a terrorist organization known as the Dreamwalkers' Children, a cult group Hekket had been tracking for years now. He had just arrived at the Gensyn City Spire (an airship station, like an airport but it's a ginormous skyscraper with docking stations for airships) via airship as well when the royal airship arrived at the opposite docking station. The royal family was there waiting for Elyssia to disembark when many of the "bystanders" summoned Conduit Rifles and trained them on the royals after killing their guards and the airship went up in flames. Hekket acted and saved the crew and passengers of the airship followed by quickly disposing of the cultists. Then 14, Elyssia was eternally grateful to Hekket for saving her life, with King Juvius sharing the sentiment, inviting Hekket to the Royal Complex to serve as Protector of the Royal Family. Elyssia and Hekket, who was 17 at the time, became great friends, and Hekket even taught her how to use a sword. As time went by and Hekket accompanied her to many a Royal function, many began to speculate that this outsider had manipulated Princess Elyssia into becoming infatuated with him. However, this was not the case. Hekket understood their age difference and their difference in station were things that had to be factored into their relationship and factored in well. He tried to distance himself from the Princess to no avail. Elyssia was adamant about remaining friends with Hekket. She might be a little infatuated with him, but that was not Hekket's fault. Elyssia has been active in the Royal Court since she returned from Gidden, helping her father make decisions along with her older siblings and the Assembly of Lords. She is very forward about her political opinions and her thoughts on policy. At the age of 19, she and Hekket became an official item. They even take secret vacations together occasionally. Now 21, Elyssia stands at 5 feet 5 inches, has blonde hair, crystal blue eyes, and lightly colored skin. She is most often seen wearing fancy royal gowns when in the public eye, but when with friends within the complex she wears shorter, flowy dresses, as she is not quite used to wearing pants.
