Noemie
Nima (Persian for "moon"), Project N0-3M13, Emie, Em
apathetic towards a label
they/them
nothing and everything (has too complex of an understanding of the world to even come close to picking one word to describe their gender, especially when they reincarnate over and over again)
about one thousand years old
has associations to butterflies and the sun and has motifs of them on their outfit/s. commonly wears a babydoll style dress with a darker panel in the middle covered by two lighter sections on either side, those two light sections matching the top, back and sleeves of the dress. on the back of their dress is a bow which wraps around their middle, the ribbons of that falling in tandem with the ribbons tying their hair together. garter belts on either thigh keep up their tights which come up to thigh-length and they commonly wear white boots, similar in style to tighnari's.
medium male model height, but not male.
a light lavender which fades into a light grey and then black
bangs in their face, wavy and tidily unkempt, pulled back into a ponytail by a white ribbon that flows in the wind, reaching noemie's back.

very french-inspired. ruffles, lace, golds and lavenders and pinks and whites with minor black accents. muted aesthetic.
softhearted but can become cold at a second's glance. thinks instinctively, as they want to learn about themself and what their instinct tells them to do guides them towards understanding themself. logical and not extremely in touch with their emotions but strives to figure them out as they come, especially the complicated ones. slightly naive when it comes to the intentions of others but their analytical nature and cynicism can some times counteract it, if they're lucky. a child at heart but very guarded with their own secrets and motivations, often expertly derailing conversations to their whim. everything they do is in the name of their purpose and of the justice they feel they owe to teyvat. very curious but keeps their questions to themselves. despite how meek they look visually, they are very sure of themself and are never swayed by the sight of a challenge. can be snarky, condescending and defensive if the right buttons are pushed, but (almost) no one has dared to go there. serene, usually quite obedient (especially to people who pique their interest even if that person is someone they don't get along with usually).
self-reflecting, being alone, interesting people, people-watching, flowers, the stars!, the moon, nighttime in sumeru, the snow, discovering themself in new lives, finding their loved ones in every life and making sure they still exist and are safe before falling back into the shadows, fighting (can gain much information about others this way), their mother's gentle voice, albedo and childe's company, wanderer/scaramouche, lyney, wriothesley, kazuha, tidying, being listened to, painting and drawing, traveling, ghosts
being stuck in the ley lines, memories of what once was in teyvat, being talked down to, people asking one too many questions about them, standing out, kaveh (sees too much of themself from a past life in him (doesn't hate him but is more quiet around him)), the doctor, the fortress of meropide,
very stuck in their own head so they come off as self-centered, can get defensive when certain subjects come up only it's very out of character for them, nosy, impulsive
painting and drawing, traveling, thinking, learning
brings ponytail around to the front of them when nervous and flicks it back over their shoulder when focused, bites their index fingernail when painting or planning something, smiles rarely if at all, doesn't nod their head or give any verbal cues that they're listening to you (but is absolutely listening because any information they don't know is like gold to them), looking up at the stars at the same exact minute every night and always seeming to search for a specific one
finding their true purpose/the true history of teyvat/the meaning of the leyline deformity they come from/learning about the true intentions of all of the beings on teyvat
all beings are both trustworthy and untrustworthy, everyone has something important to know about them, fighting teaches you many things about a person (sometimes more than you learn from them by talking)
painting/drawing, remembering an insane amount of information due to the ley lines running through their veins and picking out the exact pieces of it they need (also good in fights for this reason)
major ptsd
being forgotten everytime their life starts over, truly dying and not being reincarnated the next time, trusting someone, the possibility of none of their motivations ever coming to fruition because they're so ambitious
is wary around the archons, but besides that they are very open-minded towards anyone else
brought to life by rhine and nicole. rhine wasn't in their life but they feel like they owe her something for being the one with the technology to do what she did. nicole raised her as a gentle child, always curious to learn more. she would bring them to the ley lines to interact with them and to see what they knew, finding out noemie had all of what the ley lines did in their head, only what was erased from those ley lines would not be erased from noemie's memory, which is somethin only nicole knew of. she was a caring mother figure, and even let albedo and noemie meet eachother before rhine took albedo away to mond (albedo does not remember this and noemie is not allowed to tell him what happened). nicole told noemie she was going to set them free and made it clear it was not to abandon them, but to let them find the meaning of their existence and of everyone else's existences and when they find their answer, to report to them.

scara (see "social").
childe, albedo, nicole.
nicole/rhinedottir (more akin to creators, but they see nicole as a mother.)
none
none
they have had many in past lives, both domestic or wild
rhinedottir and albedo by sheer technicality.
their past lives never stick them into families per se, but moreso into another iteration of themself as a person with the same name, only a different role in that life.
electro vision and polearm wielder. was created by a witch (potentially nicole) from a defect in irminsul. is not human but not a god. reincarnates after every end in their life which has the same average length as a human's, and is forgotten about by everyone but one particular person who has a connection to irminsul himself. has died and come back to life countless times and because of this, is told about in legends and almost feared by people (as if they would ever catch on that the person they fear is right under their noses). nicole was a kind guide, aiding noemie in finding both their own true identity and the truth behind teyvat's laws. however, noemie, in their countless lives, has fallen into one too many tainted pairs of hands and has become many things: a weapon, a tool, a martyr and an abandoner.
when scara learned how noemie protected him from falling to their death, they felt that pain in their chest from being abandoned, but was confused as he had only spoken to this subordinate a couple of times before and he had refused to open his heart to anyone else. after awhile, he realised to his utter dismay that he might have considered them a friend due to their gentle quiet and obedient nature who let him keep all of his control.
noemie has a hot headed and passionate side to them but tries not to let it get in the way of their purpose, so scara never saw it until they became close again. he didn't know about it until they got into a quarrel for the first time and he almost closed his mouth immediately after hearing noemie fire back, having no idea that they had a sharp side to them.
noemie stuttered his name once, falling off at "scara-" but after noemie's solemn apology and insistance that there was no excuse for their disrespect and a willingness to accept a punishment (was it their own guilt for disappointing someone who intrigues them so much that they would abandon their purpose to understand him deeper or their devotion to learning about the many ways of the fatui?) and the balladeer, knowing noemie was the subordinate he tolerated the most, shrugged it off and asked them to make sure it never happened again. when they met again and noemie called him "balladeer", he told them to call him anything else. they said, "anything?" and he said, "yes, i dont care, just not that." "may i call you scara again? i know it isn't too far off from your previous name in the fatui, but you didn't mind me calling you that as much as it seemed like you minded when others did." "fine." (he was happy to hear that name from noemie again.)
wanderer/scaramouche - they met eachother briefly before scaramouche erased himself from irminsul. this was during one of noemie's reincarnations where they were a fatui subbordinate under the balladeer. the balladeer never got close to anyone, let alone someone under him in prestige, but tolerated noemie as they took orders seriously and fought until the very end with him during spars, even going so far as to give him bandages for his cracked arm after they got back from a nearly deadly mission. the balladeer said, "what are you waiting for? i can't do that myself." noemie had followed him into his room and gently held his arm as he bandaged it. the balladeer didn't let his surprise of being treated so gently show. noemie learned of his plan with dottore to become a false god, made their way to sumeru alongside other subordinates as fast as they could under the tsaritsa's orders and given scaramouche's favour of them (a small favour but one nonetheless), was chosen as the one of them who would sneak their way into the factory to watch over him. they saw everything and watched the balladeer, as per orders. what they weren't expecting was to witness a god proclaim that it took her hundreds of resets to get to the point she got to, evident from how disoriented noemie was during this exchange. they watched the gnosis get ripped from the balladeer's desperate grasp, desperation which ripped tubes from his back and rendered him limply falling to his near doom from the head of the robot he was inside. in an act of instinct, pure instinct and not within their duty, they ran as fast as they could, harbouring electro energy into the soles of their feet, and broke his fall. he still felt the pain and despair of what happened, but landed just a little safer. the force of his fall crushed their ribs, landing them in purgatory. they resided in irminsul again for a short time, making home with it's leylines again before returning to a new life. they felt a disturbance and then a prayer. "world, forget me." and in their half-slumber, they murmured, "i couldn't if i tried." perhaps that one utterance and their acquaintance with these leylines they have unintentionally been tainted by grew to their benefit. in their current life, one of a sumerian scholar studying the stars and other cultures besides their own, they found themself face to face with another student in the library, one in the vahumana house. it was the balladeer, only his eyes held no anger, no despair; only slight dissatisfaction and mirth. noemie walked closer and was surprised to see the balladeer in a similar state of shock. did he remember them? others were meant to forget of them after their time came in their previous life. perhaps their home in the leylines and effect on his story gave him no room to forget. the cracks in his arm, which noemie had once bandaged, were gone. slowly, as to not cause him to lash out at them, noemie reached for the arm in question: an arm with no cracks. "it healed." noemie said quietly, "i'm happy." the balladeer was still in shock. "you.. you left me. the lesser lord told me you died catching my fall. how are you here?" "the same way i always am, by reincarnation when my previous life comes to a close." they were fated to never remember eachother, but destined to never forget.
nicole - noemie's master and co-creator. rhinedottir had a help with the technicalities but noemie was created to fulfill nicole's purpose: to understand the meanings of the deformities of the ley lines, being born from one themself. nicole was a kindhearted master, teaching noemie the ways of the world and helping them come to terms with their purpose of understanding that world.
albedo - they have met in a couple of noemie's lives. noemie is envious that albedo grew to be something of importance, while noemie is still yearning to find that importance in themself. albedo told them, "we were created from similar technologies. being willingly created and having days spent on perfecting the creation, does that not make you perfect in of itself? your purpose will be fulfilled one day."
childe - given noemie's loose relation to skirk through rhinedottir, it is no surprise that them and childe were going to cross paths one day. in their life as a fatui subordinate, they saw through childe's dull eyes and the general information they had on everyone from they leylines gave them an even clearer picture than from just their perceptiveness alone. he was hurting. once, after viewing one of his sparring matches with a fellow subordinate, noemie walked up to him and offered him a hand. he took it out of friendliness (not necessity) and offered a grin. noemie asked, "does the purpose of being a weapon outshine your need to fight for control?" they didn't ask out of disrespect. if anything, it was a question full of admiration for an individual so unlike anyone they have met before and a need to know more. childe stood shocked, before smiling again. noemie spoke again before childe could respond, "i admire your way of thinking. if it's not too much to ask, what other things do you believe? i would be very happy to challenge you to a duel in return for what information you give me." noemie had fought in that duel with everything they had, and was almost a good match for childe, until the end when they fell limply at childe's feet. childe laughed and said, "yknow, you're an interesting person and a good sparring partner. i think we'll get along just fine." noemie knows he has long forgotten about them, but thinks about him often.
noemie has worshipped every archon at least once in their many lifetimes and has also worshipped none of them.
is very openminded and craves to learn new things in their many lives and therefore does not have a cemented opinion, given that all of the perspectives of people they meet change their own point of view a little bit each time.
gold, like the stars.
warm things. they cannot create that warmth on their own, being born from an intangible object like irminsul and warm foods and drinks are one of very few ways to make them feel that warmth.
the stars, the nature all around them and the beautiful caricatures of faces they see.
lavender
the kitsune of inazuma and the deer of natlan
they don't have a job but moreso have the all-encompassing purpose to understand the leylines, history and laws of teyvat, a purpose given to them by nicole.
