Davlin is motivated solely and intensely by devotion to her god, Orkas. She believes more than anything that he knows what is best for her and will lead her down that path.

Davlin cannot look away from the path of the sun and allows it, at times, to corrupt her. She is deathly loyal and falls into traps because of it. She's quick to start a fight when she feels she should know best.

Davlin is an exceptionally talented parishioner. Her communication with her god is incredibly clear and good. She is a prodigy.

Davlin is intense, devout, and resourceful. She is a leader and proud to be one.

Davlin is a staunch loyalist to Orkas and will go to war on his behalf. She respects the other parishioners deeply but will not capitulate to them.

As parishioner, it is Davlin's job to speak with her god and convey that information to the speakers so they can implement policy.

Davlin attended the Academy for New Science and studied politics and scripture.

Davlin keeps quiet about her past. Like how she dropped her family name upon becoming apprentice parishioner, she believes all that really matters is that she is a daughter of Orkas.
