Born to the very small, very peaceful village of Shimmerfell, Nico never had difficulties growing up. He was always quiet, never saying a word to anyone and always seeming to simply observe his surroundings in a way no one else in the village seemed to comprehend. And no one was too surprised when he showed up with a stray cat one day, overly attached to the feline for some reason.

His parents noted his penchant for magic and made sure to contact The Crystal River Academy to make sure things were arranged for him when he came of age, including being allowed to bring the cat (now named Aphrodite) along since his parents knew that attempting to separate the two would not go over well. So when the time came Nico and Aphrodite headed for the school and the studies began.

Only a few years in and Nico is already taking classes well above his peers, having proven time and again at least in the areas of magic he is much more powerful than most his age and in other matters he learns quite quickly. Everyone is excited to see where he will be in a few years when he graduates...
