If you guessed Mitch was a bit of a himbo, you'd be correct! Is he the brightest guy around? No, but he's far from stupid and very emotionally intelligent, and has hidden depths he hides beneath an unaffected mask of being chill. He tries to brush off his worries and problems with a laissez-faire attitude that sometimes comes back to bite him, but he still cares, so much more deeply than he lets off. A minor League intern, he works alongside his high school classmate Thom Wolffe, who he quickly befriends.
Despite working for the League, Mitch keeps his powers a secret since they take a physical and emotional toll on him and also have a lot of hoops to jump through in order to even allow him to "glitch", as he calls it, back in time. In fact, he barely uses his powers until he agrees to help Thom confront a League official over a covered-up crime and witnesses Thom being shot and killed, instantly "glitching" back in time to the lead-up to avoid that fate himself. Mitch and Thom sometimes butt heads, especially in terms of Thom's whistleblowing--Thom wants all of the information to be exposed, even if it costs him the ultimate price, but Mitch refuses to lose his best friend that way.
