The Laine family is the long line of Aquarius for The Starlight Squad, with Cara being the latest.

Cara's been on her own for quite some time; her mother lied to her father about who she was and when he found out he left before Cara was born. Her mother died when she was just twelve, and with no other family Cara was raised by The Crystal River Academy until she graduated.

After that, however, she mostly vanished. When the Starlight Squad calls she shows up, but aside from that she lives as a ghost in the world. Some say she had an incident her first year at the Academy, and while she's always been a bit antisocial it seemed to only get worse as she got older, but no one can really say.
