she is educated, just not as in tune with other people as others are.

she is the person who works with mark on the project, she is an independent person, who mostly steals, which she is really good at. mark notices and offers her a large sum of money to test out something, which she then breaks her agreement by saying she wants to leave. Mark finds out about and creates a lawsuit to trap her, she then dies inside(ish) the room.
