Loves the classic hand chop, chopping off someone's hand is a great way to leave a permanent scar and make them always remember you. But, killing loved ones is a great way to psychologically torture them, especially eating any babies the know.
Hundreds of thousands of years ago, on the beaches of the Eastern Indian Ocean, lived mud crabs. Mud crabs all just living their lives, doing as nature intended. Small creatures living the process of surviving and repopulating. We follow a male mud crab, no different than the others, just trying to find a mate. Then, out of no where, something unnatural happened, suddenly the Earth quaked and the ground ruptered. The crabs fleed at the sight of it. The ground burst open with red liquid pouring out of the ground, our main crab was fleeing from the disturbance. A giant demonic hand appears from the ground, and for some reason, the crab is grabbed by the hand, it can't do anything to prevent what was happening. The next thing the crab remembers is waking up in a dark pit, the crab uses it's natural instinct to burrow in fear. The ground below is solid rock, and the crab tears right through it. The crab then comes to realize that this is unusual that it can go through solid rock, it has newfound strength. It notices a vine reaching from the top, and tries to climb up it, the crab seems to have a new form of intelligence and cognition and is capable of hatching a plan to escape. When it reaches the top, it sees a bird flying through the cave. It's odd because it's not used to seeing birds that small. Why was the bird so small? It looked at itself through a light beam and came to the realization that it was far bigger than normal, about 6 feet tall. It was massive. Why was this happening? What even happened? The crab has no idea what to do and freaks out, its nature felt violated and their was no instinct that prepared him for this moment. He then went out of the cave and was greeted by what can only be described as a demonic monster with horns and three bright purple eyes, pointy ears, and a serpent like body. He then speaks and says that his experiment worked. The demon lord was happy and took the crab away. The crab then remembers being in a cave full of flowers and fauna. Many vines encompassed the wall and suddenly, the vines move and form into a woman's face. The demon lord then talks to the woman and refers to her as "his love". He states that the crab is a present for her. A giant crab who's smart and will be of much use and will be a splendid gaurdian. The woman is delighted. On that day, an ordinary mud crab found itself gifted and turned into something else entirely. It seems like it has a great destiny ahead of it as an intelligent, mighty creature.
After that the crab followed a process of integration. It was informed on the ways of life and the purpose it will serve. The demon lord who granted him power was a demon lord of the underworld named Elkolo. Elkolo was made for the sole purpose of being an arbiter of evil, he and his minions invaded Earth back then because that was his purpose. But deep down he longed for more meaning in life, he was tired of his chosen purpose to be evil. And he found new purpose by falling in live with Flourisha, an elite nature gaurdian. In these prehistoric times, gaurdians and demons were on Earth and constantly fought with each other, one trying to preserve nature one trying to destroy it. Elkolo then devotes his time to being a good partner to Flourisha and brings her many gifts for her job. One was him finding a mud crab on a beach, and making it mighty, and it being a gaurdian for her. The crab was tasked with being a gaurdian of nature, and was taught the importance of such a task. He listened either way as he still couldn't make his own decisions. This is when he adopted the name Namyl. He worked with other gaurdians and even started a romantic relationship with one called gryash. He did not question what he did. Flourisha always encouraged him to make his own opinions and decisions but he found it hard. He seemed to not understand the customs of the world. He was taught right from wrong, but, he struggled with understanding what was "right" and "wrong". He came to a conclusion that it was simply the gaurdians using their nature of reproducing and living that they consider acts of protecting the environment "right" and the opposite "wrong". He became more skeptical over time. His romantic relationship was really just for show in his eyes. Although Greyash loved him, he wasn't sure if he loved her back, he just said he did. He has no idea what love is. His crab instincts get in the way of many things. The gaurdians and their morality was incapable for him to understand. He does research and learns of how his species just lives, reproduces, repeat. He feels not like the other gaurdians, but he also doesn't feel like a crab. He also has immense strength compared to other gaurdians, if he could find something in life that mattered to him truly, that helped his nature he would enjoy it. He learns of how people enjoy humor, and understood how it worked and dreamed of being the one that can make others laugh despite being serious all of the time.
Meanwhile, Elkolo and his demons had s falling out with the gaurdians, the gaurdians wished to finally push them back to the underworld and Elkolo with them. Despite his attempts to change, Elkolo's past actions come back to haunt hima and an all out war breaks out. Elkolo becomes eternally sad and becomes bitter and wished he'd never try to change and find love, it always ends the same, his destiny was pre-determined. Namyl took a fascination with the demons. He thought their lack of "morals" and their desire to conquer and destroy everything in their path intriguing. He switches sides and goes to help the demons and Elkolo. He also was created by Elkolo so he thought he owed it to him. Namyl respected the demon lord. The war causes mass chaos, but eventually the gaurdians won, they push all the demons and Elkolo back into the underworld. Namyl is discovered and the other gaurdians aren't aware that he betrayed them. They try to ask him what he was doing and they believe the demons must have manipulated him to doing their bidding. A large majority of gaurdians died during the war, and the remaining thought it was time to leave Earth in the hands for a new intelligent species, humans. Greyash talks to Namyl and asks where he's been. Namyl ignored her. He is still caught up in his ideals and he's at his breaking point. When she continues to talk Namyl tells her to not bother, everything's fine with him and she should mind her own business and focus on what she's doing. When she is confused he hands it to her straight, "Hey, don't feel bad. We were never a thing. You never really mattered at all to me. I mean, look at me, I'm a crab, we were never compatible, that's not how nature works. So let's stop pretending and get on with our lives. Goodbye." He walks away leaving her speechless. He then is told to explain the demon situation to an audience. He started playing along until he couldn't take it anymore. He snapped. He was done pretending. He admitted to helping the demons under his own free will. He said they made more snse and now, he's not on any side. He expresses how much hatred he has for the gaurdians and their "morality". He found them sickening and they don't even follow the laws of nature. "Does a lion feel bad when it hunts it's prey? Does a black widow feel bad when it eats it's lover? Does a crab feel bad when it eats it's own children? No. So why should I. Stop tampering with nature. Survivial is of the fittest and that's it. The weak die so the strong will survive. I am stronger and smarter than everyone here, and I have to sit up here and 'explain myself'. I was blessed with being the mightiest crab this planet's ever seen. We don't understand each other, never will. Now leave me be or else I might show you all how real nature is and butcher all of you." Everyone was shocked. No one ever heard him yell before. Namyl at first seems shocked at what he said but then smiles and starts laughing hard. No one has seen him have this much emotion. The other gaurdians try to apprehend him, but he is ready and easily kills two of them rushing towards him. He flees and Greyash looks on in horror at the being she once loved doing such things. "I guess demons exist in our world too." Says a gaurdian, "He was created by one, it figures." Says another. Namyl then finds the flower cave and talks to Flourisha, who at this time is depressed after having a part in sending Elkolo, her lover, to the underworld. Namyl tells her he finally found his purpose. She is aware of his outburst and tells him she's sorry. Namyl is confused and says, "You have nothing to apologize for, you always wanted me to from my own opinions, well, I did. Flourisha says that she failed him, he should've never turned out to become a monster. Namyl is a little aggravated and says, "I make my own choices. No one else." "What if you hurt more people?" Says Flourisha. "Honestly, I don't care. I've been told my whole life to care, but, I am no longer willing to. People will get hurt and that's just how it is." "You've really came this far." She said. "Nature should've never been tampered with, you were just a crab and should've stayed that way. You're just a failure." Namyl gets angry. "I am the strongest creature here, and I'm intelligent. I am prefection! What've you been doing? Sitting here gloating over your demon ex-boyfriend. See the bigger picture! You're literally the high gaurdian of nature! You'll be down in the dumps forever. I'll be on my way, you should stay here and die, just die, revel in your own filth. That's what love does to you. Goodbye Flourisha." She died from heartache not long after.
The gaurdians all dissipated. Namyl remained wondering the Earth and found opportunity in the form of a straggler demon who was still around. Namyl tried to prove his superiority by finding and killing this demon. He name was Matilda and she was a shapeshifting demon. Namyl hunted her and eventually killed her. Her soul was then condensed down into an orb. The orb granted the user with shapeshifting powers and the ability to speak to the underworld. Because Namyl killed her, the orb only bended to his will. Namyl used it to contact Elkolo who was still in the underworld. They were talking and Elkolo was very depressed and unwilling to discuss anything. Namyl then gets fustrated and tells Elkolo to grow up, Elkolo is the most powerful being he knows and now that he sees he's still upset over his relationship he loses respect for him. He trlls Elkolo that him focusing on unimportant things like love led to his downfall to begin with. He then taunts Elkolo and says his former lover is now dead, and he told her to die when he left her. Then comes the rise of human civilization, at first Namyl avoided humans but grew interested in them due to their intelligence. He still felt above them though. And was sickened over their obsession with morality. He started to embrace his desire to be humorous. Having a persona of a comedic, sarcastic crab, he even took on a new name, "Krazy Krab", as many humans don't know his real name. He does deals with and even terrorizes some humans. He starts a civilization of loyal followers and finds himself attacked by a nearby kingdom. He invades them and goes to the peace negotiations with the queen of the kingdom, Ytalal. She then apologizes and says she knows of Krazy Krab's origin. She says they should stop fighting and she will help him make the world better, and he'll be at the forefront of it. She reveals herself as a demi-goddess, and she says she's the long lost daughter of Flourisha. Krazy Krab listens to her but deep down is offended. The very idea of this queen attacking his territory and even offering him to "make the world a better place" sickened him. But he kept his comedic tone. He also felt it was personal with her being Flourisha's daughter. She then starts to admire him and says that he truly is a mighty creature and the bedt nature has to offer. She offers him the chance to join her kingdom and she will make a female crab just like him. That way, he could dominate by repopulating having many more giant crabs like him. This offer infuriated Krazy Krab. He didn't want to have more like himself, he only cared about himself, so with just one hand gesture, Krazy Krab ordered the massacre of her kingdom, nobody was left alive, except her, and he made her watch all of it. He brags about his achievements to Elkolo through the orb. Even Elkolo, a demon lord of evil, was disgusted by Krazy Krab's actions. Krazy Krab then brags that the main victim was Flourisha's daughter, and this made Elkolo incredibly horrified and furious, Krazy Krab then refuses to talk to him again and tells Elkolo to rot in the underworld and think about the pathetic waste he is. Elkolo then refers to Krazy Krab as his biggest mistake. He could've avoided this if he left the mud crab alone on the beach. Krazy Krab then continues to work with humans for a long time, helping some if it benefits him and killing others. But as humanity became more advanced, they posed more of a threat to him, they jad the power in numbers that he didn't. Eventually there was a crusade to remove him from the world and he had to flee to the ocean. Humans started to cover up Krazy Krab's existence and removed him from the history books, being just a legend. Krazy Krab's main goal is to assert power over all of humanity and show he's the mightiest being there is. He just needs the right tools to do so. He eventually finds himself in the new world, he finds some native tribes and they worship him as a god. This changes in the mid 1800s, as some american pioneers come to Krazy Krab's territory, he's confused to see Caucasian English speakers here. A load of them areive and make a settlement, and Krazy Krab questions where they came from, they're horrified of him and he keeps them captive there until he can find out what's going on. A US military marshall arrives and Krazy Krab tells them to take him to their leader. Krazy Krab makes a deal with the US government that he'll be an operative for them if they let him have total control over the settlement, and he won't cause trouble for them as well. The deal is made after some negotiations and Krazy Krab rules over the settlement and it's people and establishes the town of Cultus Cancri. Which means "the cult of the cancer(crab)" in latin. The people were shut off from the rest of the us under an authoritarian government by Krazy Krab. The US covers up any traces of Krazy Krab or Cultus Cancri existing. These were his staging grounds for potential plans in the future and he gets to rule over humans with nobody stopping him. What will the future hold?
In the modern age, Cultus Cancri remains secluded, the people live in fear and their whole live they've only known to obey the crab's commands lest they be severely punished. The privileged ones are those who are the most loyal, men are trained as cronies and muscle for Krazy Krab's operations. Krazy Krab remains the leader of Cultus Cancri, ge's definetly aged at this point and is still comedic around people but now is hollow and incredibly determined to find a way to rule all humans. On the side, he runs an illegal arms business masked as a solar panel company he occasionally leaves the city for his government operations and hos crime business. The US tries to cover up his existence but there are "conspiracy theories" of a giant crab in the us. The people outside the city he actually sees eye to eye are those he doss business with. His relationship with the government is very tense. Bothe he and the government think that one day the other will double-cross them. At this point, technology has become too advanced for Krazy Krab to handle, there's no way he can face the militaries of the world now that military technology is so powerful. So now his plan is to find something with such power that no one can stop it to use. That's it for the origin. As for the future? Let's say Krazy Krab may find the way to be able to acheive his goals. But, there are unlikely heroes mocking about everywhere. Will Krazy Krab finally prove that it's survival of the fittest and become the dominant being? Or will his actions finally catch up to him and all the lives he's hurt and ruined will finally get justice? This is to be determined. I might talk about it in the future.
Namyl aka Krazy Krab is just a product of nature getting messed up. We can create monsters by taking animalistic behavior and putting it to pur level. Animals and humans are different. Sometimes crossing the line, combined with immense power, can create catastrophic messes. The thing is, he was kind of a villain from the start, he just had to learn over timethe knowledge of the world before he could express his narcissistic views. Or maybe he did used to have a conscience? Maybe Elkolo was just incapable of creating a creature of good and it was made evil? We may never know, but one thing's for sure, he's a krazy krab.
