- Has slight PTSD from having cancer+being on her deathbed
Like other vampires, Johana has a heightened sense of smell, particularly for blood. She has the ability to see in the dark, retract her fangs, and possesses a level of strength that shouldn't match her person.

No family. She was in hospice because she didn't have anyone to care for her at her old place.
Johana had lived a relatively normal life in XXX, Sweden until her diagnosis for stage 3 breast cancer at age XX. After radiation therapy and then a double masectomy, the cancer had continued to spread, rendering Johana to live out the rest of her days in hospice.
However... one night, Johana had awoken to the sound of crying, with the physical presence of someone weeping over her and a deep, stinging pain in her neck. It was, in fact, an elderly woman she had seen earlier in the day, sobbing that she 'couldn't do it' and wanted the young woman to live. Johana had no idea what she was talking about, unable to catch the red glow of the other's irises, as they'd been closed. She did not immediately catch the glow of her own, or register that she could see quite well in the dark of the room, believing some lights had been on. Only when the pain in her neck disappeared and she'd quickly felt the best she did in a long time did she make her way for the in-room bathroom.
As it turns out, in wishing for Johana to live, the old woman had accidentally turned her. As for what she was doing there, the old woman had the idea to drink from people who were terminally ill, as they were dying anyway. However, in the end, she couldn't bring herself to do it as sadness for Johana's circumstances overwhelmed her, resulting in Johana's turning.
Afterwards, Johana left the hospital and went home. She attempted to resume her life like normal but found herself unable to, due to the fact she now kept odd sleeping hours, became overwhelmed by newfound smells outside, found food bland and unsatisfying, and found herself craving human flesh and blood. It disturbed her, and now she had no sense of purpose or direction in life, which depresses her.
At some point, Johana finds herself working as an errand girl for the Medimortimers, a top-secret organization in the medical world known to do unethical things in the name of stem cell research. The deal is, Johana does tasks for them in exchange for rooming and food (cadavers to suck blood from).
(to Aniela) "No hard feelings!"
- Up until she became a vampire, she ate mostly fruits and greens. She thought meat was gross, given it came from something that was living.
- She loved coffee, especially flavored coffee, but stopped consuming it, among other human food, due to the fact it tasted bland after her turning.
- Has a sort of random music taste, with favorite genres being electronic, pop, and chill hop.

A Medimortimer facility
Johana doesn't need money to survive but blood. She has a deal going on with the Medimortimers, that in exchange for performing tasks for them, she can feed on the bodies they bring back. The deal also comes with her being able to live at the facility, so it works pretty well.
Hitwoman/Body snatcher/misc. errands.
She likes one of the doctors and often hangs around her in their free time. The feelings are clearly unreturned, but Johana bothers her anyway.
Much of the staff either appear intimidated or annoyed by her. She doesn't pay much attention to them.
During a "scenario-based experiment", Johana was among those tasked to bring people to the site of the experiment. Among the subjects was a Further Vampire named Aniela, whom had been passing through a city disguised as a human. Intrigued as to what a Further might do, she clocked her on the back of her head with a bat and brought her back without the knowledge of those overseeing the experiment. It resulted in death and injury of the staff, as well as some subjects,. Afterwards, when it was over, Johana yelled out, "No hard feelings!" while Aniela, with a hard glare, merely snarled and went on her way as she was unable to get to Johana.
She used to love coffee and greens, but since becoming a vampire, they're not enjoyable to her anymore :(
These days, she likes to snack on human eyeballs.
