"The power works through his knowledge about plants and their needs. He has to think about all the factors of their growth, what they need and what to pull from the earth to make them grow. It can work on instinct in emergencies but most of the time it takes a lot of effort and if used too much it can pull from surrounding plants and leech the soil of all of its nutrients, essentially killing the natural plant life to make way for what he makes. As such he’s on pretty strict lockdown generally because he doesnt have that control to not suck a national park dry if he wanted to just chill on a giant flower." - mauvity
