"When casting, she has to do either of the hand signs in the drawing for her to cast her wanted illusions and for better control (though, preferably, when using one hand, she will do the first one, but when using both hands, she will do the second one), and for those illusions to disappear, she has to snap her fingers. That’s why when her hands are slippery or she is unable to snap her fingers, she prevents herself from creating illusions because she will have trouble making them disappear.
