Anna normally doesn't get pushed enough to become annoyed. She is a very patient person by nature, but there are certain people in her life (usually Harry) that have a knack for overstepping her boundaries. In that case, she will just give a look that sums up what she's feeling, and with Harry, it usually shuts him up. In court, she contains it until she leaves.
If Anna becomes curious about something and seeks into it more, the searches sometimes lead to unnerving results. When this becomes the case, Anna will talk to someone she trusts immediately. If that isn't an option, she will remove herself from the situation.
Anna doesn't particularly like surprises, so she's very jumpy when she gets surprised. Her first instinct is to freeze, which lets her take the situation into account, then relax if it's something simple or fight if it's something more.

Anna often gets to the point where her exhaustion overwhelms her. She doesn't admit she's tired until she's literally sitting at the table and falling asleep over paperwork near midnight. Pure exhaustion shuts down all her bodily functions, and she can barely do more than speak until she falls asleep to get her energy back.

After past the point of fighting for herself and any others, if Anna becomes trapped, her nerves remain high but her outward temper evens out. She doesn't want to give her captor anything to use against her, so she will remain as emotionless as she can for as long as she can.
Whenever Anna is sleeping, it's the only time she is relaxed. However, sometimes her sleep is darkened with nightmares and memories of her kidnapping.
Anna doesn't have very high pain tolerance, so any injuries she receives will likely be painful. It will show in her expression. Anna contorts her face and will cry out if it's too much to keep it in.
Anna tries not to lie often, so when she does you can tell. She trips over her words more than usual, and will pause a few seconds while she's in the middle of speaking.
Anna maintains a neutral, cold expression on her face as best she can. It happens quite often with her job, more than most people might assume. While her heart races, she keeps her voice even, and if it escalates too far, she will call for help.
Anna receives the backend of insults more often than not, especially in discreet ways from opposing lawyers. She's learned to just shrug it off and not think twice about it.
Most of the time, Anna is oblivious to her own flirting. She just thinks she's having a nice conversation, then afterward, she'll realize that it was a very flirty interaction on her part. She expresses little giggles, smiles, and makes little comments to show the other person that she's listening and cares about what they're saying.
Again, Anna isn't great at recognizing when she's being flirted with. Only when the touches or words/pet names become overwhelmingly obvious, she will realize exactly what is happening.
Anna is a very self-sacrificing person. When she is in love, she will give her everything to that person whether they reciprocate or not. Oftentimes, this leads to her heart being broken.

Anna has always been the kind of person who put others first and self-sacrifices. She was the top of her class in Cambridge, but no one knew how many all-nighters she pulled to study or how many other underclassmen she tutored in the different aspects of law. Her life has been a consistency of "wrong place, wrong time" and "dragged into drama because of someone else" scenarios.
While at Cambridge, she met Harry and they fell in love. However, Anna is currently in the process of seeking a divorce. (See more in Relationships)
While working at her firm, Anna is assigned a case about Kevin Grey. He was convicted on murder charges and confessed he was guilty of two murders. But before Anna could question him any longer, he committed suicide in the custody of Whitecross Prison.
These events led Anna to confront the prison governor, Nikhail Julian. He invited Anna to work at the prison's outreach program. Again, this led to more interactions, and the two became very close. They even began to date all while Anna was trying to uncover details about the prison and Harry was tracking multiple cases that all seemed to intertwine.
Eventually, Harry was arrested on false murder charges. Anna didn't believe the accusations, but she and Daisy had planned to spend a weekend with Nikahil at one of his houses. While they were there, the visit became a hostage situation where Nikhail trapped Anna and Daisy as bait to use them against Harry. While kidnapped, Nikhail briefly explained his plan to Anna, and later, they were held at gunpoint while Nikhail threatened Harry to take his own life. Daisy nearly drowned, but the whole family was saved. Nikhail was taken into custody and later killed.
