Lily was born to the previous guildmaster and her husband, and everyone expected she would take their place when the time came. She grew up learning the ins and outs of running The Moonwood Ravens and unfortunately had to take up her position sooner than everyone would have liked when a cave collapse on the tundra took the lives of her parents when she was in her early 20's.

It is a position that Lily considers and honor and knows is a privilege. Only by the will of the people does she maintain power, for they can decide she is unfit and have her overruled and a new Guild Leader put in her place at any time. Because of that, and because she wants to, Lily has always been good about looking out for her people and making friendly alliances with the other Guild Leaders - something that has earned her a lot of trust among the other members of the Moonwood Ravens, as they do truly believe at least for now Lily has their best interests at heart.
