He doesn't let it get super long, and he usually wears a beanie anyway
Tattoos across his chest and thighs, and full sleeve tattoos from his wrists to his elbows and a leg sleeve down his right leg.
Gauges in both ears
His style is considered somewhat alternative on a surface level; but he's long outgrown his alternative dress. He's usually in t-shirts and jeans, or button down shirts and slacks when working at the school. He keeps himself well-kept and well-dressed and makes sure to take care of himself; his muscles testify to that.
Tony's main draw is his megawatt smile. He is always smiling.
Tony is like a hyperactive ball of sunshine. He was diagnosed with ADHD as a child, which explains a lot of his difficulty with attention span and his constant need to fidget, touching everything. He usually keeps a fidget cube on him just for this purpose, or else he'd be hopping around. Thanks to his time in a band he often taps his fingers against things as well, especially when his attention wanders.
Tony can rarely be seen without a smile on his face. He is almost always in a good mood, usually also humming under his breath. He is a goofball, having never really outgrown his 'class clown' days. He is also very physical, focused on touch and textures. He's a hugger, no matter who you are, but sometimes has to be reminded that not everyone is as much of a fan as he is.
Despite his general happy-go-lucky attitude Tony does take life very seriously and works hard for what he has. He really does just try his best, and wants to act as a cheerleader for others who are also trying their best. He likes to be a rock for others and help out where he can.
Bisexual
Tony is a super friendly guy! He loves people, he's an extrovert through and through. Put Tony in the middle of a crowd with lots to do and he is one super happy camper. He can always be found with a smile on his face and eagerly chatting away with whoever he can find. Every can be his best friend if only for the duration of the event they're both at.
Tony can be compared easily to a big, goofy grown dog who thinks it is still a puppy and doesn't know his own strength or the force of his affections. He does have social awareness though and knows how to turn it down or back off if he's accidentally making someone uncomfortable.
That being said, Tony has a moral compass and tends to stand up for others, so his enemies can run the typical gamut: jerks, abusers, anyone who might find an infectiously happy guy really annoying, etc. He can get angry and can hold grudges if pushed far enough.
Tony had always had a very casual and laid-back opinion on relationships. That was mostly a problem of treating his significant others like he treated his friends; he treated his friends well, so most of his relationships had been good and fun while they lasted. But those looking to find a deeper connection, or to be treated differently or special, often found themselves disappointed in Tony's affections.
He was very much an overgrown puppy who loved to give everyone and everything affection. Not in a cheating way! He was definitely against that. Once that exclusive conversation was had, that was it. He wasn't afraid to tell someone off for crossing boundaries when he was taken and committed. But Tony was admittedly open with his love language. He had been accused often (usually by partners prone to jealousy) of accidentally flirting. He didn't mean to. That was part of the problem; he never knew when he was flirting or being flirted with, because he was that friendly and open to everyone.
Part of the reason he'd never gotten serious with anyone was also because secretly, Tony was a bit of a romantic who believed in the mystical "One". The One being the person from straight out of a romance or a fairytale. The love at first sight, true love's kiss, The One. He was of the firm belief he would know it when he found it.
Tony's lived his days of jamming up and down the west coast with his band and their van, but he still teaches music classes at Rockin' Records.

Snow Haven, Alaska
Meet Tony! Literally no one calls him Anthony unless it's something super formal or he's in trouble. He is my extra smiley, ADHD-diagnosed Dryad. He was born and raised in Snow Haven, though he left for almost 10 years to live as a starving artist in a band on the West Coast. He returned at age 28 to settle down and find his place in the world. Right now he thinks that's in music therapy, and he's been steadily working his way through school for it.
Tony is a man who never sits still, so he tends to be all over the place. He's in graduate school at the local university, he's interning at the hospital in the therapy department, and he works as a clerk at Rockin' Records part-time as well as teaching guitar and drums for music lessons.
Tony was born and raised in Snow Haven, the in between son to two daughters. Three years separates him from his older sister, but only 18 months between him and his youngest sister. They were a dryad family through and through, his father worked landscaping during the summer months and snow removal in the winter, and his mother worked in one of the town's greenhouses, serving fresh fruits and vegetables through the year.
Tony was well loved as a child, but he struggled with school where his sisters had no issues; it took until he was 12 to be officially diagnosed with ADHD, and by that point Tony had given up on school. Instead, thanks to junior high music classes, he fell in love with music. With music he could focus in a way he couldn't with boring classes and stupid textbooks. He learned guitar and drums, and while he can do the piano he never quite had the same patience to learn his scales.
He joined a band in high school and the moment he finally graduated he was done with school forever… or so he thought. Filled with his youth he and his bandmates hit the road for the lower 48, traveling up and down the west coast as beach bums while they survived doing odd jobs and their band gigs.
The band never made it big (not that Tony minded, he enjoyed them as they were), and after eight or nine years living by the skin of their teeth the band crumpled. They lost two of the four to drugs - when it became clear they preferred the junkie life over the band - and Tony lost the last to what his bandmate called 'adulthood'. He had settled down to work and start a family with his girlfriend, leaving Tony alone.
He came back home at almost 26 with his tail between his legs, his band days forever behind him. His sisters happily took him in as he decided what he was going to do for the rest of his life. He got a job working at Rockin' Records as a cashier and doing music lessons for them, which he did happily for a couple months before someone taking lessons mentioned the idea of doing music therapy for the hospital. Tony was good with music and good with people, and they encouraged him to look into it.
He talked to the hospital to find out what they wanted him to do, and was dismayed to learn they wanted at minimum a bachelor's degree in music therapy, and once he was state certified the hospital was willing to hire him while he worked on a master's degree. Luckily the nearby university offered a music therapy program. Tony was scared to go back to school, but with encouragement from his sisters decided to take the plunge.
It's been a long struggle, but Tony did finish his bachelor's degree after five years. He is now starting into his master's degree through the University of Fairbanks, Snow Haven branch, where he also works as a TA while he's interning at the hospital and still maintaining his job at Rockin' Records.
His gaia marks are small flowers attached to creeping vines that crawl up his arms to his elbows and down his thighs to his knees. Both of which have been incorporated into his tattoo sleeves. It makes the tattoos look like a neon effect when his gaia marks glow.
Tony has been fully aware of the supernatural world for basically all of his life, as a born Dryad.
Typical dryad magic. He is especially well-tuned to plant life, his 'green thumb' is practically legendary in town, though he doesn't really have much to do with that side of his dryadic nature. A plant's roots are too deep for him. Instead he is more used to his earth elemental side of his terra magic. He likes to do mini-earthquakes as a party trick.
Plot Ideas
Idea #1: Exes. As mentioned above, Tony's been around the block when it comes to his exes, and I'd love to tie him in with some existing characters to have been an ex for! He would have stayed friendly with most of them, so I'm mostly wanting friends who just so happened to also date. Although there's always room for some angst or bad breakups. Bonus points if these friendly exes are already in other relationships!
Idea #2: Garage Band. Tony's lived his days of jamming up and down the west coast with his band and their van, but he still teaches music classes at Rockin' Records. So Tony can either be your music teacher or if you just want a guy to jam with on guitar, bass, or drums, Tony is your man!
These are obviously just ideas, so feel free to hit me with anything and everything you might wanna do with my Dryad!
