Born in the elven capitol of Myrin, Kasiya spent his whole life locked away from the world. He never understood why; whenever he asked he was simply told that he was not like other kids, and he never would be.

His studies growing up were all about prophecy, dream interpretation, and other subjects of similar sort. He was encouraged to share his dreams, no matter how silly they might seem, and when the first dreams began to come true his family knew it was time. Agents of The Sovereign Galen came shortly thereafter, whisking Kasiya away to Tavnoin so when his transformation hit he wasn't a danger to himself or those around him.

Over the years Kasiya began to understand why his parents had done what they had done. His father was a mystic, and feared his child too would be. Kasiya was raised as if he had those powers, and when the family turned out to be right they were glad for it. Knowing this eventually Kasiya forgave them, and learned his place with the mystics under the Sovereign Galen's care.

Freed from his curse by Zaela and her party, Kasiya has known no other life and stuck with the group. When Zaela took up the mantle of Sovereign he asked to be able to stay and serve her, and has done so faithfully since.
