Mastermind living in the middle of nowhere
Lamplighter has a real name but I'm not going to reveal that anytime soon :-)

Lamplighter is a frail, thin cross fox. He is mainly ebony black, with a flash of white on his chest. Lamplighter has an orange stripe running down his back and ending at his tail. He has a grey tail tip. There are patches of orange on his hind legs and on the side of his face. No one really knows his true eye color, as Lamplighter is always seen with a plague doctor mask. He wears a red cloak, similar to Slushie's.
??? (No one knows~)
Alien, but the government listed him as a Cross Fox because apparently "Alien" isn't an acceptable answer
Frail, thin, and delicate
It's not that hard to spot Lamplighter with his plague mask, so he's pretty identifiable.
Lamplighter appears to be secretive and aloof when meeting strangers. However, he has a short temper and gets sarcastic whenever someone bothers him.
Lamplighter's mostly just trying to find a way to avenge his home planet and destroy the Night Crawlers. He's also trying to find out who he truly is since he did have an existential crisis in the past.
It's safe to say Lamplighter is hard to get along with. He's reserved and distant, but can quickly lose his temper whenever he's bothered. Lamplighter always seems to be working, studying, or anything to tear apart those Night Crawlers. He's negative and remorseful at times, especially when someone mentions his home planet. Despite these drawbacks, Lamplighter is highly intelligent, skilled in magic, and resourceful in his materials. Lamplighter is usually careful and calculating, although his judgment becomes clouded from time to time. He is also quite suspicious and wary of others.
Lamplighter can get self-absorbed and narrow-minded. He is cynical and doesn't believe in humanity (animality?). Lamplighter may also become harsh and stubborn in his studies. He lets his emotions cloud his decision, especially when he's feeling a strong emotion.
Lamplighter doesn't like everyone in general.
Lamplighter doesn't seem to eat or sleep... or at least most of the time. He is intelligent and capable of casting large spells without much difficulty. Lamplighter is able to summon large Tao Mandalas, create portals (although he's not as powerful as Slushie), Eldritch whips, Eldritch swords, transformation, transmutation, and conjuration spells. Lamplighter can also fight with tooth and claw, although he hasn't expanded on this section.
As being an alien, Lamplighter possess the ability to shapeshift. He is noticeably more talented with the skill than the average alien, as he can shift into more complicated creatures with ease.
Lamplighter uses much of his time studying Grouglins. However, he also enjoys camping, practicing archery (he isn't very good at it, oof), astronomy, and exploring his surroundings whenever he's not studying.
True neutral. Lamplighter doesn't want to do anything with the law.

good question
(if he were supposedly 40 his birthday would be around 1981)
Lamplighter went to public school on his home planet.
Lamplighter originated somewhere not on Earth. One day, a spaceship landed on Earth, and the young fox stumbled out. Lamplighter was discovered by a young Masters of the Mystic Arts apprentice, who went by Pigeon Keys. Pigeon managed to get Lamplighter to Kamar-Taj. There, they managed to rescue Lamplighter from near death.
For the next few weeks, Lamplighter stayed at the place while Pigeon visited him regularly. At first, Lamplighter was irritated by the apprentice, but he eventually began to become more comfortable around him. When it was time for him to leave, Lamplighter requested to stay and study magic. While the masters were reluctant, they let him in. Lamplighter proved to be a fast learner, quickly mastering spells.
One day, Lamplighter set off on a mission. He was to confront the leader of Night Crawlers, and destroy them if necessary. He didn't tell Pigeon about this, since he didn't want to risk Pigeon's life. However, he barely got past the borders before a patrol attacked and ripped out his left eye. Embarrassed, Lamplighter fled and didn't return to the Masters of the Mystic Arts. He vowed to work harder in order to wipe out the monsters.
After some time, a fiery portal opened before his eyes. He hadn't seen something happen like that for years. Four young animals burst out of the portal and fell onto the ground. They raised their heads to face Lamplighter and begged for help. Although hesitant, Lamplighter allowed the four inside his home. As of now, they've gotten to know each other and are currently trying to figure out how to defeat the Night Crawlers. (Lamplighter wants to wipe them out)

"groan H-huh? Where am I?"
"Colors are only mirages of black and white."
"If I don't engage, perhaps they will leave me alone-"
uh I haven't figured out yet-
Lamplighter's not his actual name-
Side note: he does actually need food and rest, he just doesn't really need that much :-) his favorite food is poisonous berries
Currently living in the middle of nowhere
"Colors are only mirages of black and white." - Lamplighter
Apparently he hates eating... bananas are on the top tier of his most hated food list
Lamplighter adores his plague doctor mask
Lamplighter would usually use his magic as a to-go weapon but claw-to-claw combat can work
None, he loathes everyone with a burning passion
None... unless you count a mastermind living in the middle of nowhere
Masters of the Mystic Arts - Lamplighter had a strained relationship with these animals. He would distance himself away from him, mostly because he thinks all animals just suck. However, the group was concerned when Lamplighter disappeared and began a search for him.
Pigeon Keys - Lamplighter first met Pigeon when he crashed into Earth. Lamplighter was skeptical of Pigeon at first, while Pigeon attempted to help him adjust to his surroundings. After some time, Lamplighter eventually grew to like Pigeon and vice versa. The two became best friends and often went exploring together. After Lamplighter had his eye ripped out, he was too embarrassed to face the Masters of the Mystic Arts- especially Pigeon. Lamplighter is unaware of the fate of his friend.
Night Crawlers - Its obvious Lamplighter despites them. However, he also fears them and isn't sure if he's able to take them on by himself. Lamplighter witnesses the Night Crawlers murder his neighbors and destroys his planet at a young age, terrorizing the young Lamplighter. He's determined to wipe them out.
Slushie Pine - Lamplighter is annoyed with the young latter and often tells her to leave him alone. Out of the trio, Lamplighter considers her the least bearable despite her efforts at being respectful.
Motzart Sterling - Lamplighter shares a kindred soul with this young blacksmith-in-training. They both like crafting (although Lamplighter is less invested). However, Lamplighter often tells them to quit buckling around.
Boris - Lamplighter doesn't mind him, although he appreciates Boris's tea-making skills. He considers Boris to be somewhat tolerable.
Marbles - Lamplighter is fascinated by the ghost, and he wishes to do some research on them.
Pepper - Lamplighter used to get annoyed with Pepper very quickly. He was often forced to babysit Pepper. Although he doesn't want to admit it, he somewhat enjoyed spending time with her. After the Wilcox incident, Lamplighter felt guilty and was anxious to hear anything from Pepper after all these years.
