Like her grandmother, Evania was born and left on the steps of a church to be raised by the clergy as Gossamer was never in a place to be raising children - let alone one that was the accidental offspring of a one night stand with a handsome elf.

History repeated itself as Evania believed herself to be the child of the priestess who raised her and called her daughter, and it wasn't until she was an adult that she learned the truth completely by accident.

However, Evania had little care for the mother who abandoned her. Blood did not make her anything more than that, and family to Evania was the woman who raised her and the clergy that she had known all her life. It made sense, however, that the church was one for Larissa, her great-grandmother. She had a connection there and Gossamer knew that those who worship the Goddess of the Moon would take good care of her child.

For now, Evania is content to serve in her great-grandmother's temple. She likes her life, the temple treats her well, and she's happy.
