Syra came from a family with many siblings, her being the oldest, she was expected to constantly watch over them and do her mother's job with no rewards. She grew sick of it and badly wanted to train with the soldiers, eventually abandoning her family in favor of pursuing after Apollo.

Syra is Apollo's bodyguard.
