Rhea is oobleck, she's very firm and brisk when something is important and gets quiet under pressure. The type to grab your arm and drag you half a mile without telling you what's going on. At rest, she's very sweet, open-minded, and flexible.
building things!! especially to last, she loves the idea of stability and permanence.
judgy, indecisive, idealistic, very sensitive, too forgiving.
she's so judgy and some of it's intuition but some of it is just... unnecessary...
doing the three fold tongue thing, providing emotional support, making people feel safe, mediating discussions she has no emotional stake in.
sagittarius sun, pisces moon, libra rising, INFP, and her love languages are words of affirmation and physical touch.
December 8th
going into her junior year of high school.
Rhea's mother, Diana, is a sweet but very preoccupied woman. She has a sort of nervous professionalism to her, and she places a lot of value on hosting-- both for herself and her friends. Diana wants the rich working wife lifestyle, something that usually comes with kids. This works perfectly for her husband, Marshall. He's a bit warmer than Diana, but no less productive and organized. You know those shallowly ecstatic brunch women with their husbands who kinda only serve as decoration? That's Rhea's parents. They both love Rhea to death, but with such busy careers, they barely have time for each other, nevermind her.
To say Rhea was a latch-key kid would be unfair but not entirely untrue. Her parents were loving and cared for her plenty, but they were business-focused more than they were ever going to be family oriented. This was complicated by the fact that they never wanted more than one child- just Rhea, one and done. With their loving but admittedly very lax approach to parenting, Rhea had a lot of time to stew in her own thoughts. She probably would have even if she had more involved parents. She replaced her parents and nonexistent friends at school with imaginary characters and cheap painting sets. Somehow, despite all the time she spent filling the space artificially, she found someone to fill a piece of it for real. Her name was Claire, and she lived one street over.
Rhea always sort of knew she wasn't a boy. At least not a normal boy. Being in school didn't help. The girls didn't like her, and the boys didn't see her as one of them. Not that she saw herself as one of them, either. Claire was one of those outgoing and blindingly sunny little girls whose mother had all the time in the world for her. She never stuck to a group in school because she simply never found it necessary, but she and Rhea became best friends. Claire and her mother never saw anything odd about Rhea. She was a scrawny little kid with more full notebooks than friends and an awkwardly-grown-out haircut, but they held princess sleepovers and girls' spa days exactly the same. Although Claire never
