Background:

Her mother died early on due to some form of radiation poisoning. she inherited a weakness to it after her mother, who was born on the ship that crashed, developed an illness as a side effect of changing dimensions. Eva’s great grandmother survived but has since developed memory loss. Her grandfather is alive but doesn’t visit very often, she lives with her dad and younger sister now.
