The unnervingly silent master blacksmith who came to oversee the processing of stone and metal for the nascent town. It is known that he is from the southern continent, but beyond that his history is nothing more than rumor and speculation. He mostly communicates via written word, with a logbook for requests.

Shah: I am grateful that Izmet is here, and I'm not worried about his reticence. Perhaps Izmet doesn't have a tongue, or is just private, like Carunas. Carunas turned out alright, after all. Shah is comfortable around Izmet.

Ua-Lo: To make such strong metals, he must be strong person! We have not seen much of Izmet, but he is important and skillful member of town.
