Shah Trog is a rare green anaconda Yuan-Ti who turns into a bear. They're fairly recognizable in any setting. As a bear, they still have yellow eyes.
When in snake form, Shah draws out S sounds. When in bear form, their voice is growly. Shah also has very low charisma in the form of not realizing how scary they are and not knowing how to fix it.
Shah wants to be a bear. Shah wants to be accepted as a bear and wants to take care of their daughter, Aha'ss, an owlbear cub.
Shah doesn't scruple much about anything, may consider you food, and is NOT charismatic at all.
Shah does not like Yuan-Ti. Yuan-Ti individuals and Yuan-Ti culture make them feel squeamish and un-belonging. Shah feels similarly to other reptilian creatures.
Shah pre judges all mammals to be superior to reptiles, and has a tendency to seek out friendships from hairier mammals (such as bears). Dwarves, who have large beards, are especially trustworthy. They look like small bears.
Shah has an unnatural talent for appearing threatening when just trying to make a friend. Shah is also very good at turning into a bear, and surviving mobs.
Shah's hobbies include turning into a bear, communing with bears, gathering berries, trying to make mammalian humanoid friends, and other survivalist skills. Shah likes honest physical labor.

Shah longs to be accepted into a community, with no idea on how to do that. Shah tries to be friendly, bit it comes across as threatening. Shah tries to be helpful, but it comes across as stilted, slightly formal, and completely awkward. Shah tries to make friends, but doesn't know what a friend is.
Shah is physically a Yuan Ti and mentally, spiritually, and magically, they are a bear. Shah experiences major consistent body dysphoria/dysmorphia when in Yuan Ti form. Shah's life revolves around this.
Shah had the Yuan Ti equivalent of middle school and a bit of high school before leaving the rainforest.
Shah was born into a small Yuan Ti settlement. They left early in life due to dysphoria and alienation from their peers and have been trying to find a place to belong since. They have spent a lot of time sitting outside a village pràcticing the "I'm friendly" speech that somehow never works.
Ua-Lo: Shah is very good friend, and excellent rival! They are powerful warrior, but also have very gentle heart - is easy to see from how they treat Aha'ss. We know we can trust Shah with our life, and will protect theirs with everything we have!

Shah practices Do-No-Harm, Take-No-Shit, which means Shah will not consciously attack until they have been physically attacked first. Sadly, they do get attacked first a lot.
Shah is in favor of any faction that allows for Shah to be considered a bear! Also, non violence and everybody lives happily ever after are some of Shah's greatest hopes for the future.
Before Shah was hired to be druid muscle for this expedition, Shah looked for honest farm work in the country. Surprisingly, there isn't much work to be had for someone like them.
Shah has never thought about colors before.
Shah likes to eat honey, but only as a topping. Honey is difficult on a Yuan Ti stomach.
Shah will eat anything once, to be honest.
Shah possesses a bear claw necklace they made themselves. It brings back bittersweet memories - acceptance, and the cruelty of when that acceptance was destroyed.
