Boreal is a large, massive IceWing. He has light beige scales, the color of toffee. He has a darker back stripe running down his spine. Boreal also has a simple necklace with a single bear claw in the middle. Boreal appears to look more exhausted each day after he uses his magic.
Lemon yellow.
Dragon, IceWing
Lightly muscled
His freckles, brown scales, caring eyes, bear claw necklace.
Pine Marten has respectful, patient mannerisms to everyone. He was trained to be polite and courteous but even if he wasn't, Pine Marten wouldn't cease to be calm and patient. He is quite charming and quirky, often making small side notes and never ceasing to bring forth a smile.
Boreal believes he's destined for greatness since he was born with animus magic. He thinks of himself as savior of the world, striving to try and attempt to make the world a living paradise. Boreal thinks everyone deserves a chance to enjoy themselves, as he hates seeing dragons suffering.
Boreal was once a kind-hearted, thoughtful, charamstic IceWing. He was chatty and slightly cheerful, though when he used more of his magic his jokes became darker. Boreal is arrogant, believing he is higher above anyone else due to his magic. He is confident and rather hasty in making decisions. Boreal seems to be lonely, as he tells excellent stories and is a little more than clingy. After using his magic for things that couldn't be reached, Boreal became more reckless and even slightly snappy. He was more demanding and impatient, getting frustrated over the smallest things.
Boreal may be callous to others' feelings and can get quite chatty as well as even annoying. His arrogance appears to be overbearing for others, as well as his 'crazy' ideas. He is also quite clumsy, as he is around as large as Darkstalker and thus normal sized dragon items would not fit Boreal. He tends to look to his magic to solve problems, which makes him overly dependent on his magic.
Boreal has a slight prejudice against any royal family, although he tries his best to be open and fair-minded. Over time, Boreal became more impatient and furious at anything who stands in his way.
Boreal is quite excellent at carving ice statutes, along with being a poet and an artist. He is a great story teller and tells rich stories.
Boreal enjoys researching, carving ice statutes, reading, writing, chatting, and creating new stories.
Boreal is a lawful neutral. He believes some of the rules are sensible but other rules should be left to the dragon. Due to the overuse of his magic, Boreal is currently chaotic evil.
Boreal was slowly going insane due to the overuse of his magic.

Unknown, but it can be safely assumed he was born long before Arctic was born.
Boreal was educated by personal tutors
Long before Queen Diamond was born, Prince Boreal was the current animus of the IceWings. There, he lead a strict and secluded life which resulted in him wishing for more friends. The only dragon who kept his hopes high was his younger sister, Lemming. They would often create stories and works of art together, as well as hunting. He sometimes visited the lower rankings, which devestaed him due to their poor living conditions. This lead him to believe he was destined for greatness, and his movitation to create a forever paradise for everyone. On the fateful day he was due to enchant a give to his tribe, Boreal decided he would leave to find himself. He gifted his tribe the Gift of Shape-shifting (see notes). After informing Lemming of his plan, Lemming gifted him a bear claw necklace as a farewell gift. Boreal used the bear necklace to create the Gift of Paradise (see notes) As he was departing, Boreal's mother spotted him leaving and out of sheer anger she enchanted the necklace so he must never take it off or he'll turn to dust. Much later, Kaviq accidentally stumbled into the Gift of Paradise. Unsure what to do with her, Boreal decided to train her. It took quite a while before they were fast friends. He often travelled around the world, trying to bring peace. Boreal brought along Kaviq, for experience. However, the IceWing began to be unstable as he used his magic more than he intended. He even got the idea of killing Death, though he wasn't sure how to word it and asked Kaviq for help. Horrfied, Kaviq began thinking up of a plan. She finally froze Boreal with a spear from the Diamond Trails, and he is forever frozen in place.
Boreal use to have an ermine pet called Shiro but he couldn't bring Shiro with him so he left Shiro in the care of Lemming.
"Don't be afraid, Little Fox. I'm Prince Boreal, warrior of the First Circle."
"You remind me a bit of my younger sister. Her name was Lemming."
"I don't care what you think mother! It's my magic! I decide what I want to do with it!"

Enchantments:
The Gift of Shape-shifting - A leather wrist cuff that allows the wearer to shapeshift into anything for a week. If taken off, the wearer will transform back to their original forms and the bracelet will have a cooldown for a couple of days. During the shape-shifted form, the wearer will be able to obtain powers (ex: An IceWing turns into a RainWing and have magical death spit.) If attempted to use during cooldown, the bracelet will not work. The bracelet is indestructible.
The Gift of Paradise - The bear claw necklace that can control dimensions and turns the wearer immortal. After departing, Pine Marten must not take off the bear claw necklace or the portals will collapse and he will turn to dust.
Boreal greatly fears death, so his curse is that each time he uses his magic, when he goes to sleep he has a vision of a brutal death.
Formerly the IceWing who controls the Gift of Paradise, as well as mentor to Kaviq. Currently dead.

Whales
The bear claw necklace Lemming gifted to him before he created the Gift of Paradise and left.
Katana
The Pine Marten. He considers the animal to be intelligent and uses pine martens to send messages to the Wings of Fire world.
Owner of the Gift of Paradise, mentor to Kaviq.
His parents - Boreal despises his parents for limiting his social interaction with other dragonets. He never cared about them, but Boreal listened to them out of fear of losing his rank. Boreal has a rocky relationship with his mother and feels anger and spite towards her for cursing him.
Lemming - Since Lemming is his little sister, Boreal always looked out for her. He cares a lot about Lemming and protects her from their parents' judgement. The two are often planning stories together, laughing and adding on to each other stories. He trusts Lemming with his life, as he told her about what he was planning to do with his powers. Boreal often wonders what Lemming would do whenever he's making a difficult decision.
Kaviq - At first, Boreal was patient with the nervous dragonet. Although Kaviq treated him like a prince (much to his annoyance), Boreal began starting small side chats. Kaviq eventually warmed up to her. Boreal thinks of Kaviq as a little sister; she reminded him a little bit of Lemming, but Boreal never got around to tell Kaviq that. When Boreal began to use his magic more often, Kaviq worried about him but Pine Marten was quick to dismiss the precaution. Later, Boreal was unexpectedly stabbed and turned to ice by Kaviq. By the time the ice crept up to his neck, Boreal realized this was for the best since he was using his magic too much. He thought Kaviq was intelligent and silently thanked her for doing the necessary action.
