While Tazdora currently leads the Lunaflower family, it's clear to any who have interactions with her that she is little more than a figurehead in that regard and her mother is still making all the big decisions in regards to anything the family does. Whether or not Tazdora herself is frustrated by this or happy to have a relatively easy go of things is unclear, as she appears to have a difficult time speaking with people or expressing emotions in general.

For their part, the Lunaflower family is responsible for looking after the Amphana flowers that surround the city. They carefully vet their workers, and theft is heavily punished. The family makes most of their profits selling the flowers that need to be culled to keep the remaining population healthy or those that have fallen naturally and are still stable. Most gets turned into various magical inks or imbued into potions, which are then sold throughout the city and even the world beyond in some cases. Only a select few are allowed to obtain and study the flowers, and the family also looks very closely into anyone seeking such a privilege to ensure that they are legitimate and will not put the flower population in danger.
