Watermelon has a light rime colour to her scales with spots and wavy stripes coloured dark colour. Her head is a light grey-blue. Her wings and frills are an almost white green like RainWings get when they're scared. Her underbelly is a ripe watermelon-y pulp colour; red.

Being a RainWing, Watermelon has a skinny, snakelike body. She has long horns, but they aren't fully formed.

Watermelon cannot be defined by any marks on her body, but she always wears a blue horn ring on her right horn.

Watermelon has completed Brilliance's shooling, but she wants to go on to a Sand Kingdom education.

Watermelon hatched and lived in Brilliance with her mother and father. At the age of 5, she finished school but decided she wanted to go to the Kingdom of the Sand to study. When the Hybrid war started, Watermelon met a vicious SandWing that would have killed her if there had not been a SilkWing to help her. The SandWing turned out to be a tribrid, and the SilkWing a hybrid. The SandWing, Sanddollar, took her to a secret cave to explain to her what had happened. They ended up sleeping in that cave but were startled when they woke up to a NightWing staring at them. Sanddollar immediately recognized him as one of the NightWings that had taken her and locked her up.
