Uhhhh. Boy's got trauma, that's for sure. Abandonment issues, lack of willingness to trust new people, but he's also a bleeding heart sorta guy. Abandonment comes from his family ditching him when he was a young child, lack of willingness to trust comes from the abuse he suffered at the hands of the village after Rusto/Rusko died. Has trouble with full mobility in his right hand after he broke a few fingers, too.

Demetrius is a pacifist - someone who pursues and protects peace, but who is filled to the brim with anger and determination to undo the injustices of the world. He was forced to grow up too fast and ran away as a better-than-expected coping mechanism, which he still falls into a lot.

He prefers to not fight at all, but an all-purpose hunting knife does the trick for him in survival situations.
