Your characters are teleported when they’re in the middle of something. Whether in battle, making out, eating popsicles, or whatever else a person/demon/ghost/robot/flesh-thing/???? can do for fun.

They’re teleported to a peaceful room that looks like a terrible recreation of the setting they left behind. If they come from the future, it’s some kinda terrible 70s approximation of the 2000s. If they’re from the past, then it looks like a caricature of what an alien would consider “old timey”. If they’re from the present, then it looks painfully off. Like something’s wrong with the air, their eyes, or their mind.

An interviewer resembling their species is talking to them. They are calm to the point of creepiness.

The characters talk to their interviewers. If they answer all their questions, they get to go back Home. Wherever they think it is.

After that, idk what happens. But it’ll probably be fun to read.

Happy writing!

( @Cackla-the-Phantasma, two things real quick)
(One~ I understand making a new character chat to invite and inspire folks, but usually a character chat, like an rp (text-based roleplaying game/chat), is interactive. It’s not a “write a scenario like this”. That’s a writing prompt, not a character chat. So, if you are just making this as a writing prompt, please move this thread to the appropriate category, or, if you can’t figure out how, I’ll move it and then give you pointers afterward. Otherwise, you’ll need to reword this, because you’re never going to get a response due to it being too one-sided for anyone to figure out)
(Two~ This is the more important note. Please slow down a bit with making new threads. I get it, you’re trying to wake everything up and inspire folks, which is great, but give it a day or two before making another thread. Please. You can’t make a new thread every two minutes and expect an immediate response. It ain’t gonna happen, and it becomes spamming. For now, I’m just giving you a warning, but if you continue spamming the site, I may have to get more forceful and I don’t want to do that)

  • Ok. I have no clue how to move this, so could you move this to Writing Prompts?

  • Alright. I'll slow down the amount of threads per day. Had a hunch that I might've been pumping out these prompt things way too fast. Sorry for the disturbance (again). Was making these on the assumption that they'd get buried and that eventually they'd be found by someone looking through for something. Somehow it flew completely over my mind that on the outside it looks like spam.
Again. Sorry for the trouble.. I'll take all of this into account in future forum use.

(Alright. It’s moved. So, when you need to move a thread, you look for the button that looks like three lines located just below the title of the thread. Tap/click that, hit “Edit Topic”, and from there you can adjust the title and the category the thread is in)
(Thank you. The website has been pretty quiet lately, except for rps, so it’s very unlikely they’re going to get buried that fast)
