Someone is possessed by a demon and quickly realizes they've never done this before.

You hear animal sounds coming from your basement. Upon checking them, you realize that that's no natural animal.

alien invasion through mysterious plants sprouting all over Earth

Or it’s the demon who’s never done this before…

Forgive my wording, but I figured the demon not knowing what possession is like was implied.
