I'm on episode 4 and now I'm scared…
Oh that is nothing compared to the distress later

I just finished it a couple hours ago and I couldn't stop crying for like a solid hour why'd they have to play me like that???
My babies all deserved so much better
Guys. GUYS. Dreamworks fired LM and JDS
Whom?
Joaquim Dos Santos and Lauren Montgomery
They were the SHOWRUNNERS
Well….
Dreamworks told them they couldn't work on any more projects
I FUCKING KNEW IT!!!
THANK GOD I HATED THEM (sorry)
Last I had checked, from a review I found on Twitter after one guy sat through every season, Voltron is really there for the giant robot fights and not so much the relationships. Also, their main villain can't decide what his motivation or tragic backstory is, and despite having the COOLEST LACKEYS EVER they never do ANYTHING. From what I heard, if you want a similar villain ("but better!") you should watch Castlevania.
I haven't personally seen much (and have no interest, for that matter), but I don't think it's a BAD show. Certainly not! Also, the filler episodes are better than most of the actual story episodes. I can't wait for when the D&D episode becomes the norm.
I really liked the D&D episode
Yeah
Nooooooo ;-; I never really paid attention to the cast and stuff, but I never heard anything bad about them…And people losing their jobs sucks anyway. Any idea why they were fired?
I mean I don't know the specifics (not a lot of people do) but it's probably because of the toxicity in the workplace and the backlash from fans
BECUASE THEY WOULDNT GIVE US THEY GAY WE WANTED
BECUASE THEY WOULDNT GIVE US THEY GAY WE WANTED
not really because of that… more like because the last season was so freaking terrible. Like it doesn't matter that Klance didn't happen, what matters is all of the plot holes and confusing backstories and unanswered questions, not to mention the twisted and sometimes unfinished character arcs and bad representation. There's so much more but it would take me a while to put it all together lol
much agreed. There was so much wrong with that season.
no yeah I agree. Like, season 8 was a mess and I was so upset about it. Like that bit at the end felt so forced it didn’t make any sense
hi fellow voltron fans
season 8 was a mess
so much nonsense
rip
What if everyone in the fandom just pretended Voltron ended however they wanted it to and we all just individually have our own canon. We don’t fight and claim that ours is right and someone else’s is wrong because we are all wrong. We each just go on and believe whatever we want and it only matters to you.
I mean, that's what I've been doing. I'm just pretending season 8 never happened and I'm continuing to read Klance fics

I mean, with the introduction of different universes/ realities, and if there are an infinite number of them with infinite possible differences and outcomes, then everyone could claim that their own canon lies in a different reality.
that would work if i even liked the concept/execution of the alternate realities subplot? i thought they handled the idea of alternate realities very gracefully throughout the rest of the seasons, until this one. it felt so sloppy i dont even want to try and wrap my head around it. the plot was such a cluttered, uninteresting mess. the only thing that made s8 worth watching was the animation and score tbh
