Okay, so I read this post online and it was super insightful. It was reflecting on the scene after she stole back the Peacock miraculous from Gabriel and she was in the sewer with Duusu. Her line is, "Gabriel so desperately wants the miraculous and I want to be the one to give it to him." (And Duusu replies "Oh, that's so romantic!" which is so cute and funny, may I add) The post was saying about Nathalie's motivations. Like, she just wants to be the reason for Gabriel's happiness and she doesn't see any other was of doing that than getting the miraculouses for him. Even if he did stop, she wouldn't. And because of everything she does in Ladybug, I realized how true that was.

uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh at what point in the show was it previously established that finding out each other's secret identities meant they had to give up their miraculous???
I have a lot of feelings about this haha

ok so with the Chloe thing I'm like genuinely stressed, no joke. Chloe has a tendency to be dangerous. And if they end the season on a cliffhanger Imma be FURIOUS.
But about the giving up their miraculous part, I don't think they established it clearly; it just makes sense. Think about it: if they reveal their identities to each other, there is an increased risk of other people finding out who they are (like what if they called each other by their names in a battle or something?) and once Hawkmoth finds out who they are, he can use that to hurt them, thereby reeling in the miraculouses. But if fu chose someone else to be the heroes, then Adrien and Marinette might still be in danger, but the miraculouses won't be.
