I once saw someone put that in their bio, but it said "American is my ARAB (Assigned Race At Birth)" Like bro-
Dude what..?
People think they can just change their race-
"Well why do you support trans people and not RCTA or therians?"
Race and species are inherited gender and sexuality are not
I have no problem with the therians and furries when they aren't hurting anyone
Arab actually means assigned real at birth duh (/j)

I don't have a problem with furries at all, but my toleration for therians plummeted when this girl kept hissing and stuff while I was trying to take a test…

That would fall under hurting ppl. No respect for them.

Exactly!!
ok, but i have a question about this.
so, biologically I'm mostly american (among other things) but not danish at all. although, i have been living here since i was very young and most of the adoptive side of my family is danish, i go to a fully danish school.
i introduce myself as first american, english second, but i would also consider myself danish(to an extent). i understand where you guys are coming from, i just want your opinions on this.
hmmm well, if it doesn't run in your blood, I don't think you could say "yeah, I'm also danish" but since you do live with family members who are danish, I think it would be fair to say that you can relate to that part of the culture and understand more than someone who doesn't identify as danish
as a hispanic, if someone were to come up to me and say they also consider themselves part of my culture im not sure how I would feel about that if they've never been a part of it in their life until then, but you have been a part of a culture since you were a kid so maybe you get a pass??? im sure your family just considers you family and don't really look at that- I think they'd say something along the lines of "you're one of us, what do you mean?"
you may not have danish blood but you are part of a danish family and maybe that's enough?? lol take what I said very lightly, some people have different standards than others and it all varies
thats where the difference between race and ethnicity comes in. race is who you are, biologically, but ethnicity is how you were raised. if you were raised danish, then that is your ethnicity, your culture.
