The names of the people you are trying to put in a group chat may have characters (symbols and the like) that may be invalid so that may also be a problem, they could change their usernames if that's the case
But besides this, the names should pop up as soon as you start typing them in the participants box, all you gotta do is click on them
Who can i know their names (or even my own name) are invalid? :,)
How about this,
Trata de hacer que los otros participantes cambien sus nombres or "edit" y haci pueden ver cual es el que tiene el nombre "invalido"
Sorry, im just really bad at explaining stuff sometimes
Thanks, i'll try it! < 3
cool, alrighty! and no problemo !
One other note: since usernames are optional, some people you're trying to message might not have set one yet. If that's the case, you can visit their Notebook.ai profile and click "Send a message" there and it should pre-fill the participants field for you so you won't need to worry about it. :)
Sorry to bother everyone but I am totally blanking; how do you change/add a profile picture?

Hi @FanfictionFanatic ! To add a profile picture you'll need to have a Gravatar account, using the same email that is connected to your Notebook.ai account–that's where you can upload or change your picture. You can find a link if you go to your profile page and click on the spot where your picture would go.
Oh! Thanks!
Is there a way to look up a username? Sorry if you’ve answered this before!
@The_White_Wolf If you know someone's username, you could just go directly to their profile by visiting notebook.ai/@username.
For example, I'm https://www.notebook.ai/@andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)
How would I embed a link to a specific word? For example, the word "this".
You mean like this
You use [ ] brackets around the word and put the site you want to link in ( ) parentheses immediately after the closing bracket, no space in between.
(I just used Google for a link here)
You surround the word/words you want to add a link to like [this] () but without the space between
Then paste your link into the parentheses, like this (https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/960853699233389120/4B432718C448BF9F8AEC1F26CD14367F8859CD37/)
(wow ella nice link but a rick roll would have been better)
(ACK here I am again but…)
How would I type in different fonts? There's a really cool robotic-y type font that I've seen on here used before that I'd like to use for something on a forum, but I don't know how to do it. Does that make sense?

(Of course!)
So I'm not good at chats and I was wondering how to bold and enlarge words. Also this is probably really easy, but how do you comment on someone's post without having it appear as a separate post (idk if that makes sense but it is what @Abserd-Is-Married-I-Guess and @Rainy-needs-cheering-up just did)

To bold, you use two asterisks or underscores. Like this or this (quote to see what I did) To enlargen, put a pound sign (#) and a space next to you want to enlargen. The more the smaller. Or you could put - or = below it.

As for this part, you merely put everything you're saying in between parenthesis. Everything. And then it will grey out the post!
(Like this! Hope I helped)
You just have to put the whole thing in parentheses! Not much else to it.
For bold text, put two of **on either end of the text. No spaces needed in between
For enlarging, just put # before the text
You can also type < sub> without the space to make smol text
< b> without the space to make bolder text
(can be used with these *** bois for bolder bolder text)
< sup> also makes smol text, but up
and putting < spoiler> and < /spoiler> at the beginning and end of your text makes a
